I am so happy I choose Embrace for my kitties
I ve had had Embrace for all of my 4 kitties for over 7 years now. It was the best choice and a life saver one. Two of them have been dealing with serious health issues in the last couple of years ( cancer and kidney failure ). They wouldn't be alive today if we didnt have the best treatments . And we were able to offer them the best care only because we had insurance. Never had any issues with Embrace reimbursing the costs. Their coverage is excellent and the rates are very reasonable. The entire claim process is simple and very smooth and the payments are made quickly. Also, very friendly and knowledgeable customer service. THANK YOU !!!

Excellent Insurance
After losing my furbaby Bradley in March of 2018, and adopting two bonded dachshaunds -- I knew that I was going to invest in Pet Insurance with my new babies, Mario and Lucky. I had spent nearly $3,000 in the last steps of Bradley's life and sadly he lost that battle. I wanted to make sure that if a crisis came upon me again, that I would have the peace of mind dealing with it. So i set about investigating many insurance companies. I narrowed my search to the top 3 rated companies. One of those was FIGO. As i researched each of them, evaluated the options and the premiums quoted -- it became clear that FIGO came out on top for me. Mario and Lucky had clean bills of health and no per-exisiting conditions. Their premiums paid in advance were $450 per year -- which included a $500 annual deductible and 100% coverage after that. I was at peace. Knowing that should a health issue come up -- I would not have to worry about the financial impact upon my decisions. In August of last year, Mario become ill with a hernia, that had progressed and there were bladder issues. Sufficed to say that he was hospitalized and had to undergo a bladder recission and procedure to attached some of his organs to his abdominal wall to avoid the herniated area. The diagnosis, ER visits, and surgery amounted to nearly $8,000. I submitted the claims and within 4 days, I was reimbursed fully (minus a couple reimburseable expenses). They even reimbursed me for changing my airfare to return home from vacation. The hernia repair needed to postponed until January 2019. Just last week, Mario had the surgery, recovering now, and I submitted the $3360 claim -- and it was paid within 3 days. I can never thank FIGO enough. I may never need the insurance again, hopefully, for either of them. But 2018 has made me grateful for the purchase of the insurance and has made me a FIGO client for life. They are amazing and I recommend them to anyone looking for great pet insurance!

I would just like to tell you how appreciated you are! My Nicky was recently diagnosed with a bad heart valve and will now have to be on a very expensive medication for the rest of his life. He also has a couple of other conditions that require medications on a monthly basis. Altogether these cost roughly just a little under $200 a month. We also just recently retired and are on a fixed income. Thanks to you, it has made this cost a lot easier to adjust to. I am so thankful I have your insurance for him and will continue to get it for all my future fur babies. I don’t know what I would do without you. You helped immensely with our first love , MAC, also a cocker. Thank you again!

Nationwide insurance has literally been a life saver
A couple months ago we had a crazy scare with our beloved Raúl, our 6 y/o Newfoundland dog. He ended up needing emergency surgery for a left liver lobe torsion. Under great veterinary care he survived and recovered, and because of our coverage with nationwide or wallets also has a quick recovery! I was impressed by the empathy expressed about my dogs condition when I called to ask questions when he was in surgery, and the turn around time to receive payment for our claim was very fast. I recommended nationwide to everyone that I know has a pet or that is thinking about becoming a pet owner. It’s literslly been a life saver.

Customer service helpful, coverage iffy
Embrace customer service has been helpful, but like with any insurance company they make you jump through hoops to get things covered. They require an orthopedic exam within the first few months of your plan, otherwise your pet is not covered for muscle-related issues (in our case, a rambunctious puppy that was fine within a week but we had checked out JUST in case). When I mentioned this orthopedic exam to my vet they made it sound like that was completely ridiculous - that exam requires a specialty office. I have their full plan - the regular insurance and wellness. Submitting a claim is easy, you have to log in to see any details (sometimes they'll email to let you know when info is available, but you have to log on to the portal), adding documentation to an existing claim is REALLY clunky. They haven't figured this out yet - you can't attach to a specific claim and have no idea if a claim they closed, requiring additional info, is being reopened with new documentation. It just isn't a great process. All in all, we got this coverage for our dog's first year as a puppy, but I'm not convinced pet insurance is truly worth it. Using their wellness program for the year, I'm only saving myself ~$60 (vs paying out of pocket), but if I didnt have this I'd save myself the hassle of submitting claims and arguing with them about whether something should be covered or not. This is why I'm saying 'no, I dont recommend this company'

We are very happy with Embrace Pet Insurance not only they way that you help with our pet's needs but also the customer service. When I call with a question the representatives are always very helpful and understanding if I do not understand something with our policy. They are courteous and patient, I don't know if we would be able to take care of our dog Holly in the way that she needs if we didn't have Embrace Pet Insurance's help. I know everything is going up in cost, I hope and wish that you will keep in mind us pet owners when you have to raise the rates, because some of us would love to keep Embrace Pet Insurance as part of our family.
