We decided to get pet insurance just in case and suprise vet needs. So glad we did. So easy to use and worth every penny. Never imagined our cat needing so much care for Utica issues.

Gives peace of mind
I have used Nationwide (and VPI before them) for about 8 years now and i have 2 dogs covered. It is nice having the peace of mind knowing that all or some of my vet bills will be reimbursed. It is so easy to submit claims using the app and the reimbursement always come through in a timely manner. It is pricier than some, but the ease and efficiency makes it worthwhile. I don't really have any complaints other than they stopped covering for neutering and teeth cleaning.

Nationwide is like any other pet insurance company - - Always looking for ways to avoid in paying a claim - Long delays in reviewing and paying claims Between the monthly cost, the deductible and unpaid claims, I don't think I have saved any money for this deal!

I've done a lot of research on different companies that offer insurance and getting pet insurance has been the best decision ever. Its saved us emotional and pocketbook trauma while in a scary time with our cat. For Figo, filing claims is easy and payout is quick. The customer service overall is very nice as well. My issue, and overall rating, with Figo was because of the way the claim was handled when we lost our cat to cancer. Upon filing my final claim for her cremation, they refused the claim. Even when I showed them it clearly states it is covered.... Apparently cremation is the disposal of 'trash' and not covered - which added insult to injury here, especially when they were so great up until then.

Pet Insurance is costly, there are times when I think "I should drop this", but when you work with plans like TruPanion, you know they love your furry friend like you do, like they are part of the family, which they are!
