A Worryfree Experience
I never would have thought I would be taking my dog to emergency at 4:00 am. At least when I did I knew she had insurance to help with the cost. I didn't need to make a decision to treat her or not. She is back to being her playful self. I was at my Vet this morning for her annual shots and I mentioned to him how pleased I was getting reimbursed and he asked which company I had insurance with. He had a patient with another insurance company that was trying to deny a claim and wrote a letter to them just this morning.

Thank you for making taking care of my dog so easy
My pug has recently been struggling with frequent urinary tract infections. Her veterinarians were struggling to find out the etiology of her condition so we needed to complete diagnostic testing as well as labs in order to treat her bacteria-resistant infection. We are so scared for her, but Nationwide pet insurance has made caring for her less worrisome. With her illness, all we want is for her to not be in pain. We are so thankful for being able to care for our pet properly by choosing Nationwide. Thank you!

Premiums too high, fee schedule hurts when you have an older dog.
Customer service is good. Claims can be slow. Statements are understandable but disappointing as fee schedule has resulted in enormous out of pocket costs for me after reimbursement.

Love the pet insurance, just wish I could put my claim in online.
I love the pet insurance we have through Nationwide. I get paid quickly, and the payment process is super easy. I only wish that the claim process was easier. Instead of having to fill out a document, and email it, I would love to see an online form that I can fill out, attach my receipts, and hit submit. That would be wonderful.
