The re claims process is simple.
The re claims process is simple. The monthly premiums are expensive though considering what is covered at only 90% after a deductible and excluding exam fees.

Professional and courteous but did not pay on the claims as they did not meet deductible or were not covered

No hassle for claims.
Trupanion is so quick and efficient with any of my claims. Within the 3rd day, they already have made the reimbursement into my bank account. Trupanion has more better insurance options for your pet than any other insurance company

It is easy to file claims, quick to pay and best of all, no surprises
ASPCA is the first pet insurance I have purchased. I was not sure what to expect. The ease of filing claims is excellent. The turn around time from when the claim is submitted and when it is paid is very short. Payments are based on the contract and there have been no surprises. I am very happy with the product and service provided.

Piece of mind, easy claims but 50% monthly premiums increase are too much
This has been my first experience with pet insurance having insured my pet very early in his life. Claims are easier than ever with the vet office submitting for us and reimbursement is also a breeze and fast with Chase pay direct deposit (no you don't have to be a Chase bank customer to use). I was riding high knowing my pet is covered for wellness and the unforeseen which gives me piece of mind and one less thing to worry about. All was well for several years until our monthly premiums went up by 50%! The message being everyone's premiums increased perhaps due to some questionable claims. A small percentage ruined an affordable plan by submitting for some pretty outrageous things; at least this is what the letter that explained why there was an increase. My cat is relatively young, strictly an indoor cat and doesn't get into any trouble yet premiums increased by 50%. I truly hope their premium tiers are revisited at some point since we were very satisfied with both the service and company knowing it was from a reputable insurer. Indoor cats at $50 a month is pretty high. We'll see how it goes but I am definitely going to start shopping around for an alternative.

Pet insurance through Nationwide is *almost perfect!
Overall, I’m happy with the service Nationwide provides. Claims are easy to file, they process claims quickly, and electronic payment is almost instant. The reason I rated it an 8 instead of a 10, is due to preexisting conditions placed on puppies. My puppy was 4 months and came from a pet store. He had kennel cough and irritated skin from being in the store. Now, none of those things (skin and upper respiratory infections) are covered by Nationwide. It’s frustrating because those were things that I couldn’t control - and he was a puppy. I think there should be a period where all pets, regardless of issue, should be covered. Especially if they are a puppy and could either be born with it or easily cured after a week.

Terrible insurance for Dane's
I had 1 claim which was denied: she needed pills for a "pre-existing" (6 months old) skin issue (bumps) i understood that. but after 3 years they increased my rates ~%60 60.00USD -> 106.00USD their reason: Breed, Location, Age, Gender. thanks this dog is getting destroyed as it is not worth having it while paying 1200+USD/year (while each year the rate will increase) to help her in her later years. sorry y'all im a veteran and the dog has better insurance than i do, and cost 106USD more... don't worry i will give her plenty of great food and take her everywhere i can; but ultimately this dog will not have insurance after this month, so might as well get her destroyed instead of paying outrageous amounts for "in case shit happens" while watching her suffer for years after hip displacement., or the ultimate heart failure. great job pets best. glad you care so much.

The Love of My Life Is Feeling Much Better
M little girl, Madison, had a tough week with a bladder infection and constipation all at the same time. Thee poor thing was miserable. She is back to normal with a smile on her face and kisses for all. I am thankful that I have the wellness plan that helped me defray some of the cost involved with her treatment. I loved the ability to use the health line to get advice and comfort that all was going to be okay.

Used to be a great company but, sadly not anymore!
I sat on hold for more then an hour today, I was disconnected three times, transferred four times and finally when I did get a human being I was just told that my claims are all completed. The claims are not completed. Right on the dashboard is shows n/a under 3 of my open claims. One other claim was submitted but isn't showing and I can not view which one didn't go through. These claims have not even received claim numbers yet and they were submitted almost a month ago. My policy premium continues to rise and the customer service continues to decline. I can hardly even understand the people answering the phones anymore because they hardly can speak English. I am incredibly unhappy with this company that I have bragged about for the last 4 years. What a shame. I will be looking into other companies as this is not how I like to do business.
