My Ruby is a sweet 9 year old Pug. As with most pugs, you get hiccups every now and again. I love this insurance since it covers dental cleanings and the deductible is pretty easy to hit. My poor Ruby had a few teeth pulled on this last round and definitely don't plan to see the $700+ after a $300 teeth cleaning. I submitted the claim and received about $500 back. The system makes it pretty simple and much easier to understand than regular people coverage.

Wouldn't have it any other way
When our Bulldog adopted us 8 years ago who would ever thought she could have brought us this much happiness. We knew we needed to protect her and did our research into getting her health insurance. Nationwide was the best we found with the potential care she may need. With insurance as soon as there is a flair up we don't have to wait and see if it continues or worsens we know we can get her treatment asap. In many cases this having this security we have caught issues early on that were less costly than waiting until they manifested into something much worse. Nationwide works with and for us.

Amazing in this day and age that something isn’t too good to be true!
I recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance to everyone! Many of my friends now use it as well! The deductible and monthly payments are worth the reassurance and calm I feel any time I need to take my dogs to the vet.

Affordable pet insurance 👍🏻
Affordable pet insurance, and it comes with a very handy app. Claims process has been a breeze. Also it’s very convenient for storing all of your pet’s health data so you never have to have a panic attack about missing another vaccine or doctors check up. Has it’s down falls like any other insurance when it comes to paying out, but overall Figo has been pretty good.

HORRIBLE COMPANY, WAS GOOD NOW AWFUL
Sneaky company quotes a $1,000 deductible but you must spend over $1,300 to meet a $1,000 deductible! Their own website apologizes for delayS in paying claims...go see for yourself. Calls go unanswered for up to an hour then answered by a Philippine phone room. They dont pay the vet's fee! They dont cover things like stem cell therapy like Embrace does. Trust me, this company haS morphed into a total loser! I switched to Embrace that charges an honest deductible....$1,000 means $1,000! They pay the vet's fee and meds. They covered over $2,ooo for stem cell therapy for my dogs hips (Healthy Paws not). Try calling Healthy Paws then call embrace. Try submitting a claim and see who pays within a reasonable period of time and who does not. Embrace will cover up to 30K annually and thats far more than you may ever need! I URGE YOU TO ASK HEALTHY PAWS HOW MUCH YOU MUST SPEND TO MEET A THOUSAND DOLLAR DEDUCTIBLE. ASK THEM WILL THEY PAY YOUR VET? WILL THEY PAY FOR STEM CELL THERAPY OR ACUPUNCTURE. Good claim service, but pre-existing conditions practice make it difficult to use
I signed up for Nationwide this year for pet insurance for the first time. There are a lot of positive aspects of how you submit claims, etc., but what has made it difficult to get value from it has been how they have gone into my pet's history to identify any pre-existing conditions or even current conditions that may have been related to earlier conditions. Basically, unless your dog is in perfect health or if you are anticipating new expenses as your dog ages, then this probably isn't a good value.
