Nationwide is working well for me.
I am a deaf/blind man training a service dog. My puppy is mischievous and gets into everything. I wish the price was less, I really need the insurance.

Best pet insurance you'll ever need
We have had Nationwide for our 2 Akitas for over 5 years. The claim and reimbursement process is very easy. We have been completely satisfied and will continue with their business.

If only human insurance worked as well
I feel compelled to write reviews only when experiences exceed my expectations so much that I feel I need to let the world know and get it off my chest. I have had Healthy Paws for 6 years now, and I have also had, unfortunately, the most “eventful” dog they probably insure. From tendonitis, to hip dysplasia, to severe osteoarthritis, aural hematomas on both ears (a year apart), gastrotomy (ate xmas lights), severe allergies, root canals and GOLD CROWNS, broken teeth (she likes to chew rocks when no one is watching), you name it. She has had a wild ride, and Healthy Paws has been the only thing allowing us our next adventure. They process claims impeccably, reimburse within a day or two, and check in on you to see how your pet is doing. Seriously? Can I get a policy too? I would stop paying my insurance before I stop paying my pup’s. It is comforting to know I do not have to choose between giving my dog the best care and paying rent. Will use and recommend FOREVER.

I'll never be without pet insurance again!
FIGO Pet Insurance has been a lifesaver, not only for me but for my dog. I purchased pet insurance for my two dogs when they were nine years old. Since then, my now 11.5-year-old Border Collie mix named Bradley has been treated twice for a myxosarcoma on his left stifle. FIGO covered it all (less my deductible, of course). Not only did FIGO cover all eligible expenses, but my claim was processed within two days, and reimbursement was in my checking account two days afterward. This happened both times. Now that's service! Molly, my other 11.5-year-old Chow Chow mix, needed stem cell therapy for arthritis in her left hip. That was covered, too. Even though my premiums have increased because of the age of the dogs and my coverage type, I'm grateful to have the insurance. When it's time to be blessed with another set of pups, they no doubt will be enrolled from day one. I recommend FIGO to everyone I know with pets! Thank you, FIGO!

Dog had ear infection as young puppy.
Dog had ear infection as young puppy. Now almost two years old and had skin rash and full body itching. Two completely unrelated medical conditions. Claim was denied because you are telling me somehow an ear infection is a pre-existing condition for skin rash and itching 18 months later. Obviously, Trupanion does it's best not to cover any possible pet medical bills. The total was under my deductible, but if treatment does not work I may go over deductible and need to have this covered, otherwise why am I sending you money each month? I guess I should have listened to your bad reviews online about fighting to get things covered. John Lessnau

Great service, policy questions remain
The reps I spoke to were friendly and courteous. I was impressed with how quickly and easliy the claim process was from start to finish. I was really surprised to find our deductible had been applied to this claim as it was the second time this accident has occurred with our dog. During the previous claim process I was told "..if this ever happens again your deductible has already been met". I alos was not aware that itis 90% coverage, admitedly my misunderstanding but still I do not feel that was not made clear. This has made me question if a yearly deductible rather than lifetime deductible per condition (and "events" not included) woud be more cost effective.

Best Decision Ever
We have had Bailey, our mini schnauzer, for 11 years. We got him as a puppy from a reputable breeder. From day one, we knew that we wanted to get pet insurance for Bailey, we viewed this as part of being responsible owners. The first 4 years of his life, Bailey was fine, he was a healthy and active dog. In the summer of 2013, Bailey had his first pancreatitis attack. And that was the beginning of his health issues. A few years ago, he was also diagnosed with Cushing. Between his pancreatitis and cushing, he has to have many vet visits, some ER visits and is on 4 different medications daily to keep him in check. This is where Healthy Paws comes in, we are so grateful that we got pet insurance for Bailey. With Healthy Paws, the claims submission process is so easy and the reimbursement check comes through the mail quickly. As the pet owner, I've always make sure that I submit all supporting docs when filing a claim. Healthy Paws has never let me down, from all of Bailey's vet visits to his daily medications, Healthy Paws allows me to provide Bailey with the best care I can give him. I always recommend Healthy Paws to any pet owners, it is the best decisions we have made!
