So thankful for nationwide pet insurance
I recommend nationwide’s pet insurance to LITERALLY everyone I know. The peace of mind knowing if something happens to our cats that we won’t have to worry about how much it will cost we just have to worry about the care they need is seriously priceless. My cat has been struggling with pancreatitis and without our pet insurance it would be sooo much more stressful than it already is for us. I don’t leave many reviews, but I will never stop telling people they need to get insurance for their pet now!!! And nationwide in my opinion is the best. My cats require special diets and nationwide covers that, which I know a lot of other plans don’t. Do yourself a favor, and get it now!

Dog insurance is needed & Nationwide has proven why!
I'm happy to say that in crunch time Nationwide has come through and covered my pups when needed. Sophie recently was found to have kidney stones and rushed into emergency surgery all during COVID-19 quarantine. The vet was quick acting and the surgeon was fantastic then to top off a perfect road to recovery, Nationwide stepped in and covered almost half the cost of the procedure. I will never have another dog without having it covered for major medical.

Great Health Care For Pets
We have had pet insurance through Nationwide for our dog since we brought her home at 3 months old and she will be turning 3 in May 2020. We have had a couple of medical issues with her dog related to digestion and it is comforting to know, we can give her the best medical care without worrying about the cost. After all our pet is a cherished member of the family and we want her to live a long healthy life with us.

Healthy Paws Simply Is The Best!
We have had Healthy Paws insurance for over 5 years now. We have had two cats and one dog (a Golden Retriever) insured. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this insurance company. We have had several MAJOR claims for our animals, and Healthy Paws has covered all of them with no questions asked. One of our cats was diagnosed with heart failure. She had numerous trips to the ER, long stays in specialty hospitals, and was on several very expensive medications. Her claims totaled over $10k, and Healthy Paws covered all of it (up to 80% per our policy). Having this insurance, and having the peace of mind to give her the care she needed, was amazing. Our dog, a Golden Retriever, tore both of his ACLs within the course of a year. Each surgery cost over $5k, and again, Healthy Paws covered both surgeries with no problem (80%, per our policy). There is no question that this insurance is WORTH IT. We don't have to worry if our pets have major issues; we know we will be able to provide them the care they need because of Healthy Paws. I also cannot say enough good things about their customer service. They are so responsive, so professional, and so caring. The claims process is very easy. You simply send a snap shot of your invoice, and within days, Healthy Paws deposits the money directly into your bank account. They send multiple emails updating you on the status of any claims, and they even send emails at the end asking how your pet is recovering. We have never had a problem with them approving claims. They are amazing. If you're debating about pet insurance, or wondering if it's cost-effective or "worth it" , I cannot attest that it is. It is worth it.

They have been good to me. I was with them until 2018, but due to financial issues (going to school), I couldn't afford it anymore. I can manage now. If not, I am sure they will help me through it again.

Quick but costs rising
Claims are quickly dealt with, but the cost has risen. Would be helpful if the 'nurse service' were covered for monthly allergy injection. Not sure if the charge for 'corporate activity tax' is generated by Cascade Summit Animal Hospital or Trupanion?
