Remarkably quick payment on claims!
Nationwide's Pet Insurance has been a tremendous asset for our family. We have had multiple opportunities to activate the policy and Nationwide has been quick to pay on each approved claim. Well worth every dollar spent on the premium and I encourage all pet owners to buy the insurance.

Very reliable
Nationwide pet insurance is offered through my employer. This is my first year having it and it's paid for itself! Super easy to submit claims and the reimbursement process is great! I have the Accidental and wellness plan and it’s well worth it!

Worth having
While the insurance policy is quite pricey it is worth it and it has paid off. I figure if I add up my monthly premiums e.g. ~$100 for the year = ~$1200 and get paid on claims throughout the year at minimum $1201, it was worth it. Every year, but 1 in 13 years, that has been the case for me. The ease of submission of claims is great and being able to check the status of the claims plus EOB online, is super easy and convenient as well.

I’ve had Nationwide pet insurance for several years now. I am extremely satisfied with their service, support, response time and claims processing. While no one likes to pay for insurance, we all know it can be necessary. I feel there is a very good value proposition with Nationwide and satisfied with the return on my investment. I would definitely recommend.

I don't usually leave feedback when reviewing but I really want to share how positive my experience has been with this company. First off, it's cheap when you compare what an emergency would cost if something happened. Even without an emergency, one trip to the vet usually takes care of the deductible, so everything after that is covered with a 90% reimbursement! 90% is amazing. That's almost all of it. I don't hesitate when Bella needs to get checked for something, and before I would put it off as long as possible because of the cost (we just couldn't afford it)... knowing we will be reimbursed makes it so much easier. Her skin is being treated the right way now. Without insurance, we would still be treating based on cost instead of quality. There is also an app called VitusVet where you can submit claims electronically, which decreases the reimbursement time tremendously. We get reimbursed within a week using the app. Love this company!

Best thing I got for my cat
When we got our Maine Coone, my husband did not think a pet insurance was necessary. So I went against him and paid for the insurance myself. We got our cat as a kitten and he was healthy. But it only takes one accident to shed so much money on pets. Almost a year passed and my cat got into an accident. He fell from a high shelf and broke his hip. We had to take him to an emergency hospital and he had a surgery to remove part of his hip bone. The whole process cost us $3000. I never had a pet insurance so I was not sure how to file a claim. Healthy Paws Pet Insurance makes it super easy to file a claim. Their app is also easy to use. After about ten business days, I got a direct deposit into my account that covered most of the cost. I could not be happier. And a rep reached out to me afterward to make sure our cat was doing well. I definitely will continue my policy. I recommend Healthy Paws to anyone who is looking for a solid, high quality pet insurance.

I like trupanion as the company able to use direct deposit , this way I know what I'm going to pay immediately through the system . I wish Trupanion able to cover exam fee. And one thing I'm concern is my premium fee have been increased about $5 every year.
