I have had Nationwide as my pet insurer for 16 years. I have never had a problem. Payment is prompt. I have recommended Nationwide to everyone I see including all the people at my vet's office. They are the BEST!

Underwriting doesn't approve you until you submit your first claim
I applied for this insurance at the end of January 2020 they told me to fax in medical records that I had and I did. They told me that underwriting would be done with my review by the 14th of February. I scheduled an appointment for the 19th. Not only did they not process my payment until after his first appointment but they refuse to cover a pre-existing condition that didn't exist on his original medical records. This is a total scam. They appear to be the least expensive. They appear to cover a lot more than the others. But they will find a way to make you pay more

Submitting invoices through their website is super easy and the check comes within a couple of days. I also appreciated the email from Healthy Paws checking on my pet's wellness after her hospital stay.

Figo is the best!
Figo insurance is straightforward and easy to understand. The process to file a claim literally takes less than a minute and reimbursement typically occurs in less than a week. Their customer service has been friendly and efficient when I needed to contact them. I absolutely recommend them to everyone I know with a pet!
