What a great company! I got this insurance for my pomeranian when he was 7 months old. He is around 14 months now and I have to say it is one of the best decisions I have made for my dog! Once we passed the waiting period for existing conditions, they have accepted most of the claims! They cover almost everything except for vaccines, exam, prescription food, ...etc. My dog had a foreign object removal surgery recently. The surgery was urgent, and the cost is above $3,000. Healthy paws covered the surgery cost within days of submitting my claim online via direct deposit. Their website is fantastic! it is very easy to create a profile, submit claims, and get reimbursement! I highly recommend getting this pet insurance or at least ask for a quote! it is SO worth it especially for big expenses like surgeries and xrays

I had this insurance for the past five years. I never had any issues at all. My dog had several surgeries and was seriously sick at the very end. Healthy Paws always processed my claims very quickly. I always got my checks within 10 days of filing the claim so I never had to worry about my credit card bills. Their customer service is outstanding. When I lost my sweet Brady in March 2019, I received a handwritten card by their office staff. Also, they were so sympathetic and compassionate with any email communication. My heart is so broken over the loss of Brady, but I know that if I ever can have another dog in the future, I will absolutely be getting Healthy Paws insurance again.

Easy and fast claim submission and payment
Unfortunately, my dog has had a few recent vet bills all in a row. Though it’s rough for my pet to go through, it’s super easy to submit a claim with Nationwide. They review it and get your approved payment sent back to you quickly, which is really convenient. Great service!

Flawless
Dakota was really sick and not eating, vomiting and constant diarrhea. I submitted my 1st claim the old fashioned way and printed the claim form and e-mailed the whole bit. The 2nd claim I used the newer method and did the claim online, and it was so easy! Both claims I was reimbursed quite timely, and money was waiting in my bank account. Huge improvement over the old system a couple of years ago. Dakota is 100% recovered and back to his usual self.

The representative understood my problem with the payment that was refused on my credit card.
The representative understood my problem with the payment that was refused on my credit card. I explained to her that the card was compromised and that I contacted the credit card company and shut it down. I explained that a new card is being issued and I will contact you to give you the information for auto pay. She was very helpful and understanding. A couple of hours later I received and email that stated that my payment was late and I was going loose coverage if not taken care of soon. That was not pleasant news. Can you please straighten this out!!
