As long as the veterinary office personnel are experienced and familiar with Trupanion processing, it is a true blessing for the pet owner. Trupanion has responded and covered expenses that would have otherwise been a financial burden for us. Due to unforeseen circumstances with pets, we will always carry Trupanion insurance on our pets.

Truly a fine experience
Trupanion does a great job responding immediately. I get an email right away when a claim is made and a detailed follow-up email with particulars. Cheque is in the mail ASAP. Can't ask for a better response. I recommend Trupanion to everyone.

Your representatives are always very helpful and patient. They even brought to my attention an error created by the AI (Artificial Intelligence ) robot last month that hadn't processed my payment and could have been a disaster if I hadn't discovered it. You helped me save my credit rating and my pet insurance just by having A LIVE REPRESENTATIVE call and explain that there was a problem with processing my payment. Thank you Lesa Omara

Pretty Easy process
Overall the process was VERY easy. The ability to upload the bill was easy, follow up on the website was not easy to see where the review was at, the claims page just noted "under review". The only issue I had was where the payment was sent. I had two different vet bills and I did ask that payment be sent to the vet's directly. Whoever cut the check sent the entire claim about to 1 of the clinics. When a customer care rep called to check in, even she could not tell me where and what about was being sent. This has delayed the process as the check now has to be re-issued to me to properly distribute the funds. However, overall the process was easy and when I do talk to someone they are very caring.
