Easy and quick process
The claim process is easy and quick. However, the cost must be paid out of pocket first. Not sure if there is an insurance card that the vet could use to file the claim directly. The owner will pay the difference.

Fast reimbursement !!
I recently had to bring my cat for multiple visits due to an infection. The claims were almost all covered other than a few items. The reimbursement process was easy and I was always reimbursed within a week of submitting claims. Thank you nationwide!

It was so seemless having the vet deal with Trupanion directly and alI I needed to do was pay the deductible and the difference to the vet. I was so upset about my dog Kaia being sick, not having to worry about the insurance was awesome.

I have actually already recommended Trupanion to friends! Submitting claims is extremely easy, whether my vet is submitting them directly or I am submitting them myself through the website. Responses and payment are extremely quick, and every representative I've talked to has been very friendly, thorough, empathetic and knowledgeable. I can tell I am dealing with fellow pet lovers. I am very happy I chose Trupanion as my pets' insurance provider.

My experience filing a claim was easy. I submitted the claim and the funds went to my bank by direct deposit. I was slightly confused by the Chase bank email to accept the deposit. Otherwise no problems.
