Disappointed
Because i was told that my dog was covered . Then the next day when i took her to the vet and found out that she had parvo i was declined coverage even though the sale associate told me otherwise

As I said in my review, my claim was handled the way you've always wanted insurance companies to operate. Here's what happened, here are the invoices, this is the vet's contact information, thank you for the payment. Which by the way. I want to add was broken down in a way that I didn't have to open the calculator app on my phone to figure out why my payment was what it was.

I had never owned a dog before, but 5 years ago I decided to adopt, NORI, a dog from my local shelter. A friend suggested that I get pet insurance and recommended Healthy Paws. It was the best decision I could have made! In June 2020, I noticed a cancerous tumor growing on Nori's left nipple. It was a sarcoma so we decided to perform surgery to remove it immediately. Because of the aggressive nature of NORI's cancer, it was recommended that we see an oncologist after surgery. NORI is doing well, but she sees the doctor for blood work once a week and has chemotherapy treatments every 3 weeks. As you can imagine, the vet bills would have piled up if I was not insured by Healthy Paws. They have a convenient mobile app that allows me to take a snapshot of Nori's bills and immediately submit the claim. Within a week, her claim is reviewed and a reimbursement payment of up to 90% of the cost is direct deposited to my bank account. The financial support has been wonderfully reassuring and gives me peace of mind so that I can focus of taking care of my beloved NORI. In addition, the customer service is exceptional. Not only do they make certain that I receive my reimbursements quickly and efficiently, but they also contact me regularly to see how NORI is doing. The emotional support I have received from Healthy Paws was unexpected but SO greatly appreciated. This is a company that really loves and cares about the well-being of animals. Pets are a special part of our family. They deserve the best. Healthy Paws will give you the best service and quality of care.

This time was fine but I still haven't received my check. And the submission for Penny's mitral valve sufficiency checkup for the submission of $250.00 was not entered in my explanation of benefits. Please let me know if I should resubmit. Otherwise I've satisfied all these 9 years. Sylvia Chandler
