My dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I spoke with an agent to inquire if insulin and needles where covered ,i was told once the claim was submitted and reviewed. I would be notified of the status of the claim Within 48 hrs my claim was approved. and payment made.i highly recommend Trupanion.

More noise in policy than yes's
Our Rogan had a reaction to a tick and flea medication. The vet had to examine him and do blood tests. There was no payment for this . I'm not impressed. Policy is not true medical coverage.i spent 40 years doing claims.The clai process was quick. But the end was not what I expected.

While Carly was very nice and very helpful to me on the phone, events leading up to the call and nothing happening as a result of the call leave me with some concerns about Trupanion. It is now Nov 27. On Aug 20 I received verification that you had started processing a claim for my dog Daisy. On Sept 3 I received another notice that the claim was complete and I would be receiving reimbursement. On Nov 13, I received another email informing me you did not have my correct address. It is hard for me to understand how it took 2 months plus another 10 days for my reimbursement check to be returned to you. When I spoke to Carly on Nov 13, I decided to have the funds directly deposited and gave her my bank and account information. It is now 14 days later and I still have not be reimbursed for a claim started last summer on Aug 20. It does appear you have no difficulty going into this same account efficiently every month to collect my premium. Quite a contrast in levels of performance from the same organization. Please deposit the claim funds asap and responds with some explanation of why there will be no repeat performance in the future. As I told Carly, I have additional expenses from the same illness but have been holding on to them to see how your process works. To date, I have not been impressed.

Wasn¡¦t a great experience. Tried to do it on line - all kinds of glitches. Had to register by phone. I did this by clicking on a link in an email from you. The person on the phone had no idea who I was so had to take all of the information I had submitted several days earlier.
