Great for the unexpected emergency
In my first time using Trupanion for my cats sudden kidney failure issue I can say that I will be a lifetime user of this insurance. During an extremely stressful process Trupanion made filing a claim as easy as scanning the documentation and spending less than 5 minutes filling out information. The reimbursement wait time was also far faster than I expected.

Because if they told me there was a $250 deductible I didn't hear it.
Because if they told me there was a $250 deductible, I didn't hear it. Because I called to find a vet that took direct pmt. I went to that vet and they didn't seem to know how the insurance worked, wanted me to pay and get reimbursement, left me in the Texas sun for 2 hours waiting on them to figure it out for a simple ear infection which physical all they did was exam and look at bacteria under microscope. They said that the insurance declined payment for the exam and they didn't know why. In other words, the insurance and vet appointment was a miserable experience. And I had a $150 vet bill for an ear infection.
