Trupanion saves the day again
Trupanion is so easy, so honest. Great communication via both phone and email. Great claims reps. No surprises. They pay 90% of expenses after deductible not including office visit fees, as promised. In this case they paid the vet directly so I only paid the difference. In other cases it’s super easy to submit claims online and they reimburse me via direct deposit to my checking account. In my case, over the years Trupanion has paid out thousands of dollars for my 3 dogs - two cancer patients, eye problems, and most recently, an ICU visit for a gastrointestinal virus where the bill for 24 hours was $2100 before insurance. It helps me to sleep at night, knowing that if there is a big emergency, Trupanion will be there and finances won’t be an issue to treat my dogs. I highly recommend Trupanion.

So Happy I Decided to go with Lemonade
I am very happy I decided to go with Lemonade when I was looking for pet insurance. I have 3 other older dogs and never knew about pet insurance until I reached out to Lemonade for one of my work files. They we so great and helpful, I went to the site and saw they have pet insurance, I had been looking for a while for my new puppy. I used the online application, received an excellent quote right away. Once I decided they we doing to be my insurance. I downloaded the app, which makes it easy to review the policy I chose and there is always someone to communicate with if you have questions. I recently had to use the insurance for my puppy, who had an ear infection. I opened the app and started a claim, it walks you through step by step. All I had to do was take a picture on my phone and upload it. The only issue I had was not with Lemonade, but with my previous vet, who delayed getting my pups medical records to the agent in a timely manner. The agent went above and beyond and made sure he received the information he need, so I would not have to deal with it. Once he received the information from the vet it was under an hour before I had approval, and a complete explanation of the covered items and not covered items. The money was in my account the next day.

WOW WOW WOW (BARK BARK BARK)
Before I joined Lemonade, I was using Embrace and paying out the butt for standard insurance coverage for things that likely wouldn't happen to my pet (hoped they wouldn't)! The process of signing up with them was highly complicated and I barely understood what I was paying for, honestly. By chance, I took a look at what Lemonade had to offer and holy moly am I glad I did! Not only was Lemonade able to save us significant money per month, but we also saved extra by paying upfront for the whole year! The process was SO EASY and I understood exactly what I was getting, which I didn't think would be possible given my experience with Embrace. NOT ONLY THAT, I signed up for the extra coverage (which was still cheaper than if I had stayed with Embrace), and I get money back on almost every procedure that Quinn gets at her annual exams (fecal test, heartworm test, lyme and leptospirosis vaccine, to name a few). Filing a claim was so easy, I was literally reimbursed the day after Quinn's vet visit and the same day I filed my claim. I'm so glad I joined Lemonade, I'll never leave as long as things remain this good and I will sing Lemonade's praises to anyone who will listen!!!
