Charging me extra fees when I did my due diligence to update my payment method last year
I already provided payment update last year but when the new year came it reverted back to the old payment method. And charged me further addition fees because I’m updating my payment method when I specifically told the agent before not to use the old payment method.

I am adding a pet to an existing policy…
I am adding a pet to an existing policy and am not seeing a multi-pet discount. I will expect to see it reflected once I receive the final documents else I will be calling to have that rectified.

Trupanion paid the pet hospital directly and they did it fast. Having my fur baby taken care of without worrying about an expensive bill was very comforting. I highly recommend Trupanion to my friends and family.

Quick claim reimbursement
My vet was able to file a claim and be reimbursed almost immediately. Much better than paying up front and waiting on reimbursement.

Helpful fast and easy to submit a claim
Agents were very helpful, I submitted a claim, I waited about a week and had not heard anything, my claim said in process, when I called I was told I was missing documents, and as soon as I emailed my missing documents, the claim was processed right away and direct deposited into my bank account.

Christmas UTI
Woke up Christmas eve to my dog Chloe having an UTI. I called and got her seen that morning. $417 later she was on the mend. I filed my claim on 01/05/2026. On 01/16/2026, Pets Best notified there was an issue with my attachment. I corrected it and it was approved on 01/29/2026. It was processed and paid on 02/04/2026. One item was not covered but the remaining 90% was. Just in time to pay those holiday bills!
Enhance bait and switch tactics are bad business
Prior to taking out a 70% coverage policy on my dog a spoke to customer service to ask if my Labrador would be covered for a chipped molar. I was told that dental care is covered . I also inquired about annual booster vaccination coverage and told yes it’s covered. I started the plan in October 2025. In a follow up vet visit I scheduled a tooth extraction for 6 weeks later. I submitted the claim through the app and was told it would take about 30 days to process the claim . I now find out that even though I made embrace aware of this chipped tooth;they now say since it was a pre-condition it’s not covered. Just the exact opposite of what I was told to induce me into providing my credit card for the monthly payments . Now 4 months into the plan I find it’s not covered .
