Nationwide cares for my Doberman and me
Nationwide has been easy to work with since we signed up when our Doberman was a puppy. Since that time, he has been a challenge (obstruction, kidney issues, etc.), and we have never had a claim denied or questioned. I keep meticulous records and Nationwide is prompt with payment. We recently had to visit Texas A&M University for a laparoscopic procedure to neuter and tack Franklin's stomach, and insurance gave us piece of mind we were prepared to handle all medical expenses. We have the best plan possible, and I will never have another dog without insurance.

Nationwide is terrific - could not be better
We've have animal companions for many years, but never took out insurance - I had imagined it being difficult and time consuming to make a claim and that lots of things would be excluded. It was only because of recommendations from a friend that we looked into insurance for our poodle puppy. We've had several claims already and Nationwide has been really great. It's very easy to make a claim and they process them like clockwork. At our choice, we have the payment go directly to our bank account. No checks in the mail. No delays. Just great service. My only regret is we didn't have insurance for our previous companions. Nationwide has been unbelievably great and the website is very good and easy to navigate, register with, etc. Nothing but good things to say.

My Yorkshire Terrier, REB, has had great attention and prompt response.
Reb, has had good care and prompt response from VPI. His leg operation and follow up were very expensive for both parties. VPI paid promptly for this entire procedure over 3 months.

Very easy to submit s claim and very fast on paying
Very easy to submit a claim and very fast paying. One thing I would improve is to not have to have the vet fill in the claim form. They are busy and that takes a lot of time. The invoices state what was done.

Back to back surgeries fi
Highly recommend! My Lab was extremely sick and it was due to a stomach blockage (he ate a sock!). He needed immediate surgery! When they took x rays they found a dark spot on his rib. It was diagnosed as cancer! So my poor lab had to first have stomach surgery for blockage then 3 weeks later part of his rib removed for cancer. You can imagine the bills! I can't say enough about Healthy Paws insurance. They covered EVERYTHING in our plan with no questions asked. They refunded our money extremely quick and made it stress free. Amazing ! Highly recommended!!
