Great company to work with!
My dog needed to have surgery to remove a couple masses for biopsy. Between the surgery and the follow ups the money added up. I submitted the claims and they were processed the next day. Checks are in the mail. On top of that customer service reached out to see how my dog was recovering. I thought that was a very nice touch, one that I had not expected.

Cancel, not here to take care of you or your pet.
I work in healthcare. A deformity that the animal was born with should NEVER be considered pre-existing. We rescued my dog and didn’t know what was wrong with him, we were told it was a broken bone that healed wrong initially, but because we had diagnostic tests done now it’s considered preexisting even though it is a VERY common deformity. It’s said that this claim was denied, it shows you are not in it to take care of your customers. I’ll be cancelling my policy as it’s obvious that you’re not in it to take care of members.

Very pleased
Overall very pleased with Met Life Only problem I’ve had so far was the required “soap” notes to process a claim Her regular vet doesn’t do them so outside of routine shots or check ups I have to take her to a vet in town that does them. I recommend everyone to them asi it is straight forward insurance that covers emergencies or major issues but also pays for her wellness.

The worst at taking your money and not covering you when you have issues.
Should of covered teeth extractions. Called before surgery to make sure. After all done declined! Waist of money!!

Waste of money
I signed up since there was a discount as a Costco membership holder. I haven't gotten my claim money, and it's been several months, and I haven't heard from them despite emailing. Currently paying $40 a month for absolutely nothing.

Healthy Paws has been a fantastic pet insurance company! The company makes it so easy to submit claims - and getting reimbursed happens very quickly - usually only 1-2 days. I love seeing the reimbursement show up automatically in my bank account. I highly recommend Healthy Paws!

Pets Best truly the best
My sweet pup was unfortunately hit by a car in September and was hospitalized for 4 days. I’m so glad I have Pets Best and that they do direct payment to the clinic. That took such a financial burden off my back because I didn’t have to pay up front and I could get my pup the best care possible without having to worry about finances. Their direct payment took about 5-6 weeks from the time I submitted my claim and the insurance liaison at Wheat Ridge was very helpful in the process. I also purchased a wellness benefit for my pup and their reimbursement for that is very quick and covers quite a bit, I highly recommend it.
