Keep Looking "Pets Best" is not the Best
I have had the same insurance for my wonderful dog for his whole life. "Pets Best" insurance leaves a lot to be desired, the application does not work at it should and you will need to use the website for any clams. The option to contact the company by phone means waiting for hours with no response. I have a healthy dog but even the yearly appointments are not fully covered. Keep looking you can find better the "Pets Best."

Excellent service but…
I had Trupanion insure my dog for 14 years. I recently had to make a move from Saskatchewan to Alberta. I used the self service to change my address and the app told me my premiums would increase 10 fold. I phoned customer service thinking this was obviously a mistake but I was told that whatever the app told me was correct. I was flabbergasted.
certainly not the best
total harrassment of a claim I filed, the company had processed the same type of claim before. they now wanted every single piece of paper from the clinic we use The last claim, which they had also paid before took 2 1/2 months to process Not the best!!

Pet's Best is not worth your time
Horrible coverage. I was not expecting to pay my monthly premium on a 100% healthy dog for 3+ years and when I needed the service, it completely let me down. My pup was stung by something at a park and had went into shock. I took her to the nearest emergency vet hospital and got care for her. Pet's Best delayed my claim multiple times claiming "we need to get more info from the vet's office" multiple times. Seemed like they were just trying to delay any sort of payment. After over a month of waiting they came back and paid me a pathetic $371 on a vet bill over a $1550! My dog is 100% healthy and I have been paying my premium since she was a puppy with Pet's Best. I will be letting anyone I know NOT to go with this SCAM of a company. Very disappointing and there was never a clear reason on why they paid back so little. Also there was no way to dispute it! They give you a number to call and that just leads you to voice prompts and a call back. Horrible company.
First time Pet Insurance purchase
After review of all the Pet Insurance options on the market, I decided MetLife Pet provides the best coverage for a reasonable cost. The mobile app is great! Easy to submit claims. My most recent claim for routine vaccines was processed in 2 days. Reimbursement paid directly to my account.

Great Service handling claims
I adopted a rescue about 9 months ago. Rosemary is a very happy lab mix but she did come with some anxiety issues and apparently grass and heat bothers her eyes. Aliso Animal Hospital is great with her and Met Life has been efficient about processing my claims. So glad I added Wellness to the policy.
Excellent coverage of our dogs
As first time users of pet insurance we weren’t sure what to expect when submitting a claim. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received. The app made submissions for both of our dogs veterinary claims easy. Highly recommend.

Service that set my mind at ease
My dog Oliver had to have emergency surgery that took us to two ERs which was stressful enough, and we had exceptional care at both. But Pets Plus Us Insurance made the claims process easy and unstressful for the already stressful situation. I didn't have to do a thing, the vet clinics submitted everything for me and all I had to do was confirm with Pets Plus that they received all they needed, easy peasy. They approved everything and I am just waiting for the reimbursement. Thank you all for everything! Samantha and Oliver
