Metlife is the Worst!!!
As a new customer with three dogs, I was hopeful that MetLife Pet Insurance would provide the peace of mind I was looking for, but it has proven to be a frustrating and disappointing experience. The claims process is incredibly slow, far from the efficient timeline they advertise. What they classify as an accident they claim was a Sickness for a freak accudent one of our dogs suffered. It's a significant financial strain to wait so long for money you've already spent, especially with multiple pets and the associated high vet bills. What's even more frustrating than the long wait times is the customer service. Each time I've called to check on a claim's status, I've been met with unhelpful information. There's no sense of genuine desire to help resolve the issue. Given the slow processing and lack of support, it's clear this company is not equipped to handle the needs of a multi-pet household. I'm actively looking for a new provider that can offer the reliable service and support that MetLife promised but failed to deliver. I highly HIGHLY recommend you look elsewhere when looking for pet insurance and don't believe some of the positive reviews about this company. Speaking honestly, we've had a negative experience with MetLife.

Reliable and Fair Pet Insurance
We have had Healthy Paws pet insurance for our last two dogs, Winnie and now Grace. Particularly in the roughest moments, we have been very thankful we chose Healthy Paws for our pet insurance needs. Having our claims processed fairly and efficiently has been so helpful as we have navigated tough health situations with both dogs. We are very thankful we have found a pet insurance we can count on with no lifetime limits and transparent and consistent claims processing. This ensures we don't have to choose between our pet and our financial security if tough health situations happen.

No communication of any substance regarding the claim. A month later all I've gotten is an email 3 weeks ago that they're reviewing the claim and don't need any additional info and a request to answer a survey. Are they going to cover the interest on my credit card that's adding up?

Do NOT Buy Insurance from Pets Best!!!!! They're Nothing But Thieves!!!!! My pup had an upset tummy and I brought her to the vet and go figure PetsBest denied my claim saying a vet visit isn't covered. I will be canceling my policy after speaking with their claims department tomorrow. Don't waste your money like I did!!!!!!!
My Dog’s Last Claim
Devastating final claim on my pets policy was for the euthanasia and cremation invoice. Completely understood cremation was not covered. Explanation of benefits on euthanasia was clear. The most important part was that I also received an email stating that my policy had ended the day after the invoice for the euthanasia, a pro-rated premium was being returned to me, and I didn't have to jump through 17 red tape hurdles to cancel the policy like I feared I would, while also grieving. The way it was seamlessly handled was the best gift. I’ve been a Pets Best customer for about 6 years and would highly recommend it. I did the wellness add on and it seemed worth it to me. In the later years my premiums were expensive but having insurance allowed me to make different decisions about my dogs health journey than I would have otherwise, such as doing additional tests or having tumors removed. I would recommend pet insurance to anyone, and Pets Best was easy and straightforward.

Making hard decisions easier
Knowing that there is less financial burden because of the continued responsiveness and support we have been provided by Pets Best helps us know that they are getting the best care and that we aren't having to making difficult choices when it comes to the heath of our fluffy family members. Wonderful Experience with Pets Best Insurance
My experience with Pets Best insurance has been fantastic, especially with the recent claims for my two dogs, Lola and Lux. I submitted claims for their wellness services, and the entire process was quick and easy. Pets Best made it simple to get everything done online, and I was so impressed with how fast the reimbursement came through. It's a huge relief to know that when I need them, they're on top of it, and their customer service is top-notch.

"I had to call to cancel my beloved pet's insurance after making a claim because they sadly didn't end up making it and passed the next day. The rep I spoke with was so helpful as I asked questions sobbing. I have appreciated having Pets Best to always best try to care for my fur babies. I also appreciate the sympathy card that was sent a few weeks after. I will always remain with Pet's Best for my pet insurance provider.
