We agreed on a plan first for me to speak to the vet hospital.
We agreed on a plan, first, for me to speak to the vet hospital. I did that. The hospital manager agreed that the vet should have included the info on toxicity of macadamia nuts and that Shep might have eaten some and that the report shoukd have so stated. The manager will speak to the vet, and discuss forgiveness on the exrays and the physical exam. Once that is determined, I will contact Trupanion. BTW, the hospital manager wants to discuss this w Trupanion - primarily to tell you that a neurological assessment was done. Since there is zero reason why she would arrive at « soft tissue injury » - and then follow up w « more vomitting ». ... scan of abdomen ??? Seems like the vet might suspect that vomiting is not a thpical response to a soft tissue injury. Maybe we can then discuss thoughts of Trupanion. Thank you.
