The staff at Trupanion answered all of my questions and were very kind and caring.
After chatting with LaTonya at Trupanion, my mind was at ease after she answered all of my questions. She quickly sent me the receipt via email to show the breakdown of my deductible and the refund they would be sending me directly, as the system to put insurance through at the Pet Hospital was down the night prior. It is great to have pet insurance for times of unexpected illnesses.

Seriously, You Send Me a Survey?
It's hard to believe Nationwide would send me a survey after the way you handled my policy and now will not return the money I put into the policy. You took my payment knowing my pet was older. In addition, prior to taking out the policy, I called NW to see if a pre-existing condition would be a issue and I was told it would not be. Read the reviews on your website, the only good ones are the ones you placed. Nationwide should be ashamed of conducting business in this manner and the only saving grace is a nice class action lawsuit for the way you bilk people out of their money. Shame on me for not reading the reviews prior to taking out the policy.

Wonderful and compassionate
I highly recommend Trupanion to every pet owner I meet. I have been extremely satisfied and appreciative for everything Trupanion has done for my pet. He was very healthy for 6 years but became sick suddenly and his health has had a snowball effect. Since his initial illness I have never had to argue over his coverage and they are always very helpful with any questions I have. This is a wonderful company that is truly in business for you and your pet and not for their own profit.

Claims were quick, painless, and adequate
Shortly after becoming a client I was slammed with incidents with both of my dogs. I filed 3 claims in less than two years. All of my claims were quick, painless and adequate. I had my vet send in the claims which I would suggest people do as medical nomenclature and accurate discriptions of procedures are sometimes not articulated properly by non medical personnel. There were a few gray areas in my mind but after reviewing my contract I found all my claims were processed in a very timely and efficient manner according to our contract. I find the peace of mind provided by insurance with a company of integrity is priceless for me as my animals are family.

I get treated like a VIP.
I get treated like a VIP. Claims are super fast and you are always concerned about my pet. I never have to argue over coverage. Your policies are black and white. Meaning there are no gray areas about what is covered and what is not. I always tell clients at my vets office about Trupanion. I'm very satisfied and will always have Trupanion for any pet I have.

My claim was dealt with quickly and the website was updated frequently. I was also emailed by a claims specialist letting me know that the claim was being worked on and if I had questions I could ask. I felt very well looked after.
