Very happy with PetsBest
My kitties are just 3 yrs old but I’ve been very happy with PetsBest. Claims are paid on time actually pretty quickly. The money is in my bank account within 10 days as a direct deposit. Claims are very easy to submit as well. Takes just a few minutes. The one time I didn’t need to speak to them the man I spoke to was very helpful and helping me pick which plan would be best for my cats. He was actually great.

Pumpkin is extremely fast, however I have received only the one reimbursement when 2 were sent. Pretty sure it’s my post office but without a tracking number I have no way to figure out where that check is.

Best Financial Decision
I'm so thankful I got Pets Best insurance. My labradoodle puppy was totally healthy until about 14 months, when he started having seemingly unsolvable digestion issues. Because we had such good coverage, I could say yes to a full diagnostic workup from a specialist, which ended up incurring ~$10K in vet bills by the time his issue was diagnosed. Pets Best reimbursed us 90% for all the tests, meds, imaging, laparoscopy and anesthesia - everything the policy promised. Without it, Stanley would still be a very sick doggy and I wouldn't have professional guidance or tools to keep him at optimal health. Thanks to Pets Best for making claims easy to file, for clear, responsive communication, and most of all for paying for 90% of my dog's treatment costs.
Refused reimbursement
This insurance company is a scam. My pet was scheduled for a dental cleaning. However, the vet discovered he had severe gingivitis when prepping him for the cleaning and he needed 16 teeth pulled. Filed a claim with Embrace and it was our first claim ever with this company ever since we insured the pet 4 years ago. Every year the policy price keeps climbing, but they outright denied our 2k dental bill because they blamed the vet for only coded the bill as “wellness”. I asked customer service on the phone why the claim was denied, and Cassie told me I should go blame my vet because they refused to break down the bill on how much of it was dental cleaning. I asked Cassie how much cleaning does she think my pet needed done when he had 16 teeth pulled. And she kept telling me there is nothing they can do and to call the vet. Do not recommend.
