Fast, Easy Claim Processing
I purchased this insurance for both of our new Lab puppies and have been very pleased with both the coverage and the speed and ease of claims processing.

Slow and unresponsive
I signed up for pet insurance through my employer after having assessed the pros and cons financially of obtaining full medical coverage for my fur baby. Although the cons would have won the argument, I did sign up for this coverage and decided that in order for my dog to stay healthy, I would have his teeth professionally cleaned since I’ve not been able ever to brush his teeth. It’s been months now that I submitted the claim and -NOTHING from Nationwide. On paper it seemed like great coverage, in reality it’s been abysmal.

Reimbursed with vet expenses
When a emergency vet made us pay up front for my dogs treatment, and they ended up doing nothing for him, they only reimbursed part of their fees they charges us. We then took him to our vet for a second opinion where he ended up needing surgery. So we ended up paying triple the amount we should have in the end, Nationwide stepped in and helped us by reimbursing most of our vet bill. Thank you so much Nationwide!

I give Trupanion a 10 because of the ease of claim filing, They contacted me to let me know they received my claim and explained how the processing would go and what would be covered under my coverage (deductible) and a check was issued and I received it a few days later!

So glad I purchased Nationwide Insurance for my dog. So easy to pay since its deducted from my paycheck. Ivr had to take my fog to the vet a few times and its cost me well over 500 dollars. I have the app, so sending my claims are so easy and convenient, the processing time is reasonable, and the reimbursement is convenient as it is deposited right to my account. I've also called the vet line and have no complaints there either. I feel that my dog is covered well with nationwide. I am aware not everything is covered. So far, most of my dogs treatments and meds are. I've recommend Nationwide to friends with pets and will continue to do so. Thank you.
