Surgery Help

We knew as a puppy that we would have our hands full between the energy and personality and opted for the whole wellness plan with Nationwide. So happy we did. From covering routine wellness checkups, to the big ACL surgery recently they have been a huge help and are quick with turning around claims, even the large ones that set you back and you really rely on that reimbursement. Very happy with their services and the ease of filing claims no matter how big or small.

Thank you Healthy Paws for being there for my dog!

My dog is thankfully healthy but recently had a accident that required a pretty serious surgery. He is family so we would have done whatever it takes to get him well but without Healthy Paws the financial burden would have been great. His insurance plan is worth every penny! They processed the claim without delay. We received reimbursement less than 2 weeks after his surgery AND they checked in to see how his recovery is going. Wonderful customer service, I wish human health insurance worked this great! I am thankful I chose Healthy Paws!

Claim was covered

This claim was approved which is great. It was easy to submit claims and i appreciate the explaination of benefits that is provided after claim review. The negative is that sometimes it takes a very long time to hear back after submitting a claim, and other times claims were not approved d/t pre-existing condition that wasn’t actually pre-existing.

Took a long time, but overall good

Overall, I am happy with this plan. There is a learning curve with submitting claims as I didn’t do it correctly at first. It did take 4-5 months for reimbursement, but that is because nationwide contacted my vet themselves after wanting more information than I was able to provide, so I’m sure that slowed the process.

I’m glad we have this insurance.

I’m so glad I purchased this insurance for our puppy when we got him. It has paid for itself. Recently the cat knocked our other dogs medicine off the counter and the puppy ate it all! Our vet bill would have been well over $1000 but fortunately our insurance paid most of the bill. The app makes submitting claims a breeze.

Fast, Easy, Excellent service

The best decision I have ever made. My little one is rambunctious and accident prone. Sound familiar? My claims are reviewed quickly and fairly. It is SO easy to make a claim and if you need help they are very kind and informative in their responses. Truly a great company!

Fantastic Pet Insurance

I LOVE Nationwide Pet insurance...We own three labradors currently, and have had labs all our adult lives. I have ALWAYS had Nationwide (and VPI before Nationwide bought the company). I recommend you to all our friends who ask. You are excellent in every way. Quick turn around of benefit checks too. Thank you for allowing me to take such excellent medical care of all our dogs. We helped 2 who had cancer...these expensive treatments would not have been possible without the great coverage. THANK YOU....
