Customer service abilities can be better

Nationwide is a pretty good insurance company and it’s super important to have one for your furbaby. My only complaint is about their customer service. I was on the phone with a representative and I was trying to clarify the result of the tests my kitten had to do. I made a mistake and submitted the claim form before I got the results, as it was the first time I ever submitted a claim. This representative gave so much attitude and left me wishing I never called to ask for help. Customer service is so important, ONE representative can ruin how the customer feels. Otherwise, nationwide is pretty good and they do help cover a lot of the expenses.

Thank You!

It was so comforting to be able to provide the best care for our Charlie and not worry about his vet bill. Nationwide has lived up to its promise. Claims were easy to file and processed timely. I am happy for insurance for my dog and kitty. It has been very easy to use and process is very clear.

I have never had a problem or delay in any of my filings. Everything has been done by email, I am kept update on the steps they take during the rpocess.

Easy and Convenient

Submitting claims to Nationwide could not be easier - very straightforward forms and I am always notified within 48 hours that the claim is under review. The explanation of benefits is very detailed, which is helpful for those of us new to the pet insurance world!

Trupanion is a gift from Heaven for my Kanine family

TP has been supporting our Herculean effort to preserve our 9 yo, male, Golden Retriever. They are simply terrific. They pay our claims with total clarity and I usually have a check in my mailbox within a week. I have over a dozen other insurance provider relationships and absolutely No One responds as well as Trupanion! This is Golden Retriever # 6 in our lives and we would never consider adopting a pet without they're support. God bless them all.

Its a Scam!

We had been obligated to add pet insurance when we picked up our 3 month old puppy. I will first state the do NOT cover any medication, and randomly subtract $80 from each claim that they will not cover. On top of not covering for many things. I have to constantly call every time they mess up on the claim and fight with them to fix it. They are not at all looking out for you or your pet. We have paid over $1000 to them and over another $1000 to my vet. And we have only had her for 10 months. STAY AWAY from trupanion. You will save money just paying out of pocket.

Always a good experience.

The claim was submitted and processed within a few days from the treatment. I have been fortunate with the ease of getting the veterinarian to send the claim to Trupanion the day of service. I definitely would recommend to my friends and colleagues.
