Appreciate the coverage
I love Nationwide. You guys are responsive to any questions I have and are quick to return my claim. Covers almost anything we’ve had to go through.

Email about Teddy was confusing
I received an email "checking on Teddy" as follow up to our visit to the vet. The visit was just to get his Heartworm and Vectra Flea and Tick treatment..... so, yes, Teddy is doing fine! :)

Irregular processing times for claims
Sent in my claims and newer claims were approved and reimbursed more quickly that the older ones. I understand getting lots of claims and getting behind but I would expect older claims to be processed before newer ones. I got a letter and everything saying ti would take longer than 30 days but I submitted another a couple weeks after and was reimbursed in a week. Very odd and inconsistent. Makes me nervous to fork over a bunch fo money to get her spayed without assurance that it waill be handled efficiently.

I am very glad i subscribe to this insurance, it helps manage my dogs' healthcare. It is quite easy to file claims and the response is usually quite fast. Also lovely customer service staff, always very helpful

Great Coverage and Customer Service
Nationwide is a great pet insurer, for ease of filing claims to obtaining payments electronically. Their phone support is very helpful and the online portal is flexible and easy to use.

Easy to work with!
So far claims have been easy, and settled quickly. One small glitch with a claim previously, but was resolved quickly. The app claim submission is great.

Never a long wait when i call. Staff always helpful.
I am extremely unhappy with the "pre existing" clause in the program. my dog has allergies and they claim that when he get an ear infection it will not be covered… I do not get this concept. When I called for clarification and the reason for this no one could answer my question. Because of this I am sopping around for different insurances.
