I submitted an appeal for Presley for date of 06/14/19. I appealed the hospitalization for the treatment of glaucoma. Dr. Parver filled out the questionnaire stating that the blood work and the hospitalization was strictly for the glaucoma. Your company only paid for the blood work. I am appealing this appeal cause clearly it says on the questionnaire stating that both the blood work and hospitalization was for the glaucoma. I left a message for Laura who took care of this appeal. I want someone else to look at this appeal because clearly she cannot read the questionnaire correctly.

Good but slow
Although I'm glad for pet insurance, I wasn't happy with the increase. The new upcoming year is more expensive even though Nationwide didn't really pay out that much on my dog. I'm also tired of being nickeled and dimed - please just roll up the sales tax and waste disposal into the reimbursement. Then my dog had a reaction to a vaccine so the vet's office gave her a shot of cerenia (she threw up as we were checking out). Nationwide wouldn't cover it because it had no diagnosis (it was a well visit). Embrace would have made the outreach to my vet's office and obtained a diagnosis. There's the difference in customer service.

Its the best thing I have ever done for my precious Schnauzer "Akela" Trupanion is the Best choice and in 4 years, have never let me down...always professional, prompt, informative and speedy on claims... Multiple Pets-Glad we have the insurance but wish it were easier to submit the claims
I have the insurance for my 3 dogs and 2 cats through my employer. The multi-pet discount makes it more affordable. My main complaints are the "ease" of submitting claims. Since I often take more than one pet at a time, often the claims are not processed correctly requiring a call to customer service. Customer service is always very helpful, and the issue is usually resolved right away. I just wish it were easier submit the claims through the website instead of emailing or using the Vitus Pet app. It would be nice if I could submit a receipt once, and indicate that the receipt applies to multiple pets, instead of submitting the same receipt multiple times. Payments through Chase have been very quick recently. That has been very helpful rather than having to wait almost a full month to get the payment.

A Pet Insurance Company that DOES care
We have had our two dogs with PPU for a few years now and are very happy. Every company has pros and cons but we are satisfied that PPU listens to their clients and do their best to have most things covered. The only thing I didn't like was every time we move ( military family ) our premium seems to go up ...not sure how we keep moving to more expensive areas each time ?? Otherwise we love that PPU covers most alternative care and is very easy to contact and speak with a representative.

Healthy Paws really is the best insurance out there
I really can't thank Healthy Paws enough for their help during such a stressful time with my my girl (a small dog named Sophie). First she got diagnosed with Cushings, which requires multiple tests and medication (which is not cheap)! Healthy Paws paid their 90% of the plan I am enrolled in. It was simple with the app, easy and no hassle at all. I thought that was it as far as health problems for her, but then suddenly she went into heart failure and spent sometime in the ER. The bill was $3600. I was so stressed out, but they said they would cover it. I paid on my credit card and submitted it thru the app, and again without any hassle they paid 90%. I strongly feel I was lucky enough to have chosen the best pet insurance out there. My girl has had great care and is doing well on her meds (she now has more meds, due to her heart problems, and those really are not cheap). Her quality of life is good and she is happy. She has to get her liver and kidneys checked every so often due to the meds. I submit the receipts thru the app, and again, no hassle and they cover 90% I have become such a strong advocate for pet insurance now. Anytime anyone I meet tells me they have a pet or are planning to get one, I constantly recommend Healthy Paws and tell them my story with my girl and the help Healthy Paws gave during such an incredibly stressful time. She got such great care and I really cannot thank them enough, but I try by telling everyone I can think of about Healthy Paws and Sophie's story.

Easy online claim forms, great email communication, and fast reimbursement time!
I wasn't too sure how claims were going to work - but not anymore! Nationwide has great service and wonderful follow-up. I really appreciate all the communication they provide and super-efficient claim process and reimbursement!
