Nationwide is a FANTASTIC pet insurance!
Nationwide has been so wonderful during a stressful time of having my furry child sick. Knowing that she can get great care without causing a financial burden to my family has been such a relief. I have and would recommend Nationwide to any pet owner!!

Huge help
It's always easy to send a claim, customer service is always pleasant when called, nationwide is very proficient when processing claims. It's a huge help with pet care cost to have the partial reimbursement for things my pup needs while not breaking my bank account

Wish it was easier and faster
The claim filing process is pretty easy once you figure out how to do it. Is it not trivial to know in the first time that the entire pet file needs to be added to every claim and a detailed explanation of each itemized item otherwise it’s considered tourism care. Other than that the automatic deposit is very not trivial to wait for the claim to process before setting it up and the customer service around this is horrible. Every time I reach out to customer service I need to raise my voice to get things handled properly and to understand clearly what Nationwide means. Pretty frustrating. Furthermore the claim process time takes way to long and getting the check takes forever... Eventually you get back what your plan covers but it is not clear what it is and very frustrating it doesn’t include preventive care such as heart worm treatment.

Couldn't ask for better service!
I signed up for pet insurance about 2 years ago for my terrier mix when she started to show signs of aging. Embrace Pet Insurance was the best choice I could have made; customer service was always kind, informative and quick to respond, submitting claims and receiving reimbursement was easy and quick. Unfortunately, Shelby had to be put down in April, and when I notified Embrace, they were so kind, it was like family. They sent cards, helped with reimbursement for all her care and euthanasia, and waited as long as I needed to close her insurance policy. I'm still blown away by how kind and helpful everyone at Embrace has been. If you need pet insurance (which I HIGHLY recommend and wished I had done sooner), look no further than Embrace!

Follow up phone call by Customer Service Repr for status of Snickers 2 claims for UTI.
The Customer Service Representative was very concerned with Snickers' well being. I was able to explain my opinion, shared by several vets that has seen Snickers, as to the underlying cause of her UTI and what we were doing to manage it until she is old enough to consider any surgical options. During our conversation, I was also able to provide her with additional information they may need to consider a subsequent claim for her spay and hernia repair which was done by a vet I haven't used before and the majority of the expenses were being covered by the rescue group under the name the rescue group had for her.

Fast, reliable, kind!
Claim reimbursement in the past has taken forever, but I appreciate the speedy approval and reimbursement I’ve received lately! It feels great to not have to worry about how to pay for expensive treatments on a recurring basis. If I ever need to call, I speak with a compassionate animal lover - and not just an insurance company.
