They drag out claim process
They take 4 weeks to even get to your claim. Ask for stuff multiple times. Not consistent. Its like 3 different departments are working one claim. they say they never receive stuff one theres proof they did. They sold company a few years ago and its declined ever since

Best decision I made
This is the first insurance I got for my pets and I have to say I am more than glad that I did. I am truly surprised how easy and fast my claims are handled and I also feel they truly care. I had been paying so many vet bill for my other pets before. I wish I would have gotten insurance for them as well.

Beware of their service!
Today I just changed my address. They told me for updating my address will affect something on the system, but they didn’t explain that it will affected the pricing on my account. Boom! Double the price after the changed of address. They know the price will be affected but they just won’t let you know! If I’m the old customer and the change of address shouldn’t affect any of my rating. You are forcing your customer to accept your current rating without telling them the price will be affected if the change the address, but it doesn’t make any sense that changing the address will change the price too! Just very poor customer service!

Painless and effective when I was going through the hardest moments
My kitty and I were surprised by a bad tumor in her small intestine. I took her to the best hospital I could find and they did a great job... for a price. Luckily I insured kitty earlier this year and HealthyPaws reimbursed most of my expenses within the week and without any back and forth. They advertise 2 day reimbursement, but they did let us know before that the process was taking longer than usual so nothing caught me off guard. I definitely recommend HealthyPaws, they were there when kitty and I needed them the most and now my cat and my emergency fund are both as healthy as ever.
