The only reason I didn't give 10 paws up is because there was a bit of a delay in the processing of my claim, being the first time we have made a claim. I do not fault the company for this delay. They needed to obtain the necessary background information to verify that it was eligible, which is completely understandable. The process itself, once it got going, made it a lot easier for us to concentrate on our dog's wellbeing, and helped us to be able to concentrate our efforts on helping him heal. I'm glad that Trupanion was our choice for pet insurance. As easy as it was, I'm hoping we don't have to make another claim for a long time, because that will mean our beloved pet is healthy. But it is very reassuring to know that we have Trupanion in our corner if we need them. It's nice to know that there are still businesses out there who are genuinely there to help their clients. Thank you for helping us with the care of our Charlie.

Easy and fast claim reimbursements
Nationwide pet insurance has been great! I've submitted two claims and received reimbursement quickly. Submitting claims is easy and the reimbursement amount has been more than I anticipated. Definitely recommend Nationwide pet insurance over any other pet insurance out there!

Gone downhill fast
I've been a Healthy Paws customer for years. It used to be great, but the company got brought out by AON earlier this year. STEER CLEAR. Ever since the buyout my calls are getting re-routed to Indian call centers. The representatives on the other end of the line are not authorized to do anything and you waste 30 min on the phone with them trying to explain the situation. RUN, don't walk from this insurer. Sadly it's another typical story of a great business going down the toilet after getting brought out by a mass conglomerate. We are so thankful for Healthy Paws!
Our sweet dog recently needed a cyst removed. She needed to see a specialist (or two) for tests and diagnosis. After surgery, she is on her way to being healthy again. The claims process was easy through the app, and all three reimbursements came very quickly. Having Healthy Paws let us focus on our dog instead of bills.

Grateful to Have Nationwide Insurance for my dogs!
This is our second year of having insurance and we were not really sure if it was a smart decision. It was THE BEST decision! The peace of mind that we have now for both our dogs is undeniable. Our oldest is a big klutz and what started as a bump on his leg turned out to be infection that lead to a few weeks of antibiotics and scrubbing his paw and follow ups, etc. Submitting the claims are easily done online and within days the money is deposited into my account that I set up electronically. Again, very easy! Customer Service has been great when I had a question regarding amounts.
