Displeased

I disagree with your findings of pre existing conditions. I pay good money for insurance for both of my dogs and spend lots of money on vet each year. I am not pleased to learn Nationwide took 30 days to them tell me there is pre existing conditions to get out of paying a claim. Nationwide is NOT on my side as your slogan states otherwise. Your customer service reps are not compassionate either. I am thinking of changing pet insurance companies.

I'm so glad I purchased pet insurance.

Nationwide paid for everything that their website says they would. I had my recent first large claim so was apprehensive to see what would be covered. My dog was sedated for a dental cleaning and her annual visit. Everything was paid for. Additionally, she was found to have hip dyplasia. This imaging, as well as her new medications, have all been covered. Every time I have called Nationwide, their customer service has been excellent.

The peace of mind having insurance on my pet is great. Having insurance that actually helps and pays claims is fabulous

It has been a great experience with VPI / NationWide. We have had the insurance since Ginger was a puppy and only in the past few years have had to make a claim. Nationwide has been awesome to deal with and is very helpful.

Mobile App is great!

They are the best!

I have had pet insurance for over 20 years. I started with that Nary pet insurance which was then taken over by Nationwide pet. I find them to be excellent in their customer service and I will continue to have pet insurance on all my animals as if we go into the future.

You can count on Healthy Paws!

I trust and can count on Healthy Paws if ever my dog has an illness or injury. Before choosing Healthy Paws, I researched at least 7 different national pet insurance companies, and Healthy Paws immediately stood out as the BEST! Low annual deductibles, great coverage -- even covers holistic treatments if given by a licensed vet, no annual or lifetime caps, GREAT customer service, very reasonable premiums, and much more. I joined Healthy Paws when my dog was 10 weeks old, and 6+ years later, I am even happier with my decision. I recently had an unexpected emergency with my dog, which required a diagnostic surgery to determine her illness. Because I have Healthy Paws on my side, I could focus entirely on my pet, without allowing costs to interfere with her care and needs. I am a great advocate for pet insurance, and having Healthy Paws to offset costs gives me peace of mind, knowing that great care is possible without incurring overwhelming debt. Great Plans, Great Pricing, Amazingly Easy Claims

I do not leave reviews as often as I should, but Nationwide Pet Insurance is definitely worthy of a review. Their pricing is best, their plans cover the most, the deductible is competitive, and their service is top-notch. I have the My Pet Protection with Wellness plan, which has been honestly perfect for my needs, definitely worth recommending for purebred dog owners. Additionally, I am not a fan of using apps for processing anything financial or forms, but the VitusVet app for submitting claims is beyond user friendly, I submit claims right from my phone in about 2 mins or less. I have claims reimbursements sent as a direct deposit and usually have my reimbursements within a week or two, sometimes within days.. I have zero complaints!
