Happy after 2 years
I have been with many different pet insurance companies, and I am extremely happy with Embrace. The rates are very reasonable. Just like ANY other pet insurance it's all on what YOU choose for your pet on coverage. You can have $10.00 a month up to $500+. I have 2 pets on Embrace and both pets I have high coverage on them because I CHOOSE too. Now the refunds are quick returns. Customer service staff are professional. Everything is self-explanatory on the paperwork that has been sent to me or if I look online. Again, if you don't understand something call customer service. I have had no problems with anyone, past or present and I have been with them for 2 years so far.

MetLife refused to pay for claims and when you call to talk to a representative, they tell you different information. They mislead you and have you paying for treatment for your pet and telling you that it will be reimbursed because this a new treatment.

MetLife Pet Insurance Is Okay
MetLife Pet Insurance was an okay option for my two dogs. My monthly premium went up by $70/month, and I ended up switching to a new provider. In terms of claims, sometimes it was a frustrating waiting game. I either had to follow up with my claim refund status multiple times, or in one instance, my claim refund was accidentally doubled due to an error on MetLife’s end. It’s been a month now, and I’m still waiting to get that cleared up. Nothing MetLife does is fast. On a positive note, the customer service is awesome. It’s easy to get ahold of someone, and the service was helpful every time. Overall, MetLife was a good option for me in the beginning, but as time went on, I realized better options for my pets are out there.
