Generally Great Customer Servic
Embrace generally is quite easy to negotiate regarding submitting claims on line (or by mail) and the customer service people are almost always polite, respectful and helpful. Tonya was excellent. I've had just one experience (actually twice with the same person) that has been off-putting. Otherwise, always easy and nice to deal with.

My dog died on December 2
My dog died on December 2. The bill for his hospitalization was over $10,000. I filed a claim with Nationwide two days later. No one challenged the bill, and less than a week later I received an electronic deposit to my checking account for my max amount. They even cancelled my dog’s policy without me having to do it. I have three other dogs, and will continue my coverage with Nationwide. They made everything so easy. Great service. It was much appreciated!

Many Claims at One Time
Our cocker spaniel recently had several eye and ear issue appointments and large vet bills. I am so glad that we have PetsBest! They processed multiple claims in a reasonable amount of time. We have insured several dog with them and they are great!
PetsBest - A most exceptional insurance company!
My dog developed heart failure, and we tried everything we could to keep her comfortable, but sadly she passed away. After her passing, I submitted 8 claims to Pets Best for the many vet visits we had during that time. Every single claim was processed and paid very quickly. What stood out though, was the compassion they showed afterward. Without me having to call or request anything, Pets Best sent us a heartfelt letter expressing their condolences. They automatically canceled Pelusa's policy as of the date she passed and issued a prorated refund. It was an incredibly kind and thoughtful, and honestly impressive for an insurance company.
It’s not clear how to get reimbursed…
It’s not clear how to get reimbursed for an approved claim. I see on the website it says that I will be sent something asking how I want to be reimbursed but I have not received that.

Excellent service from Pets Best
My dog had a terrible cough. Took her to the vet twice in 2 days. X-rays, shots, medications. Right before Christmas. Ouch. I submitted my $800+ claims and was reimbursed in less than a week. Pets Best paid for most everything. Excellent service
