MetLife was the Silver Lining
After 48 hours of diarrhea from both of our 6-month-old French Bulldogs, we had to bring them in for an emergency evaluation. After spending $3,000 and a 7-day course of pre-biotics, they are now back to normal. The positive aspect of this situation is MetLife Pet Insurance. We have always had insurance for our previous pets with other providers, but they all pale in comparison to MetLife. The process for submitting a claim was so efficient that it was almost hard to believe it was that simple. I filled out the claim form online, attached the detailed treatment receipt, and received confirmation of the claim receipt within 1-2 days. We were then reimbursed within 7-10 days. I highly recommend MetLife to anyone in the market for pet insurance.

Very Responsive Service
Our rescued cat has required bladder stone surgery and prescription food to keep her healthy. Response to claims has always been quick and claim submittal couldn't be easier.
Great support and service
PetsPlusUs has been amazing for our family since 2015, when we got our Dalmatian and German Shorthaired-Pointer puppies. They are both now 8 years old. Recently, our Dal jumped too high for a frisbee and had an "off" landing. The result was that he through his back out. PetsPlusUs has covered not only our dogs' wellness needs like annual exams and monthly parasite medications but also the extra care required for their allergies, injuries and continued wellness. We also have PetsPlusUs coverage for our cat. We intend to stay with this insurance company when these ones pass and we begin the cycle of loving again.
I Could Not be More Pleased
I had never had pet insurance before, and the ease of navigating the process with Metlife Pet ... was so smooth. Submitting the documents , awaiting the processing and receiving the payment. Metlife Pet Agents are very helpful and professional when you reach out or chat... so if I could give them 10 stars I would.... Insurance for pets nowadays, is not a luxury, it is truly necessary.... and I feel much more comfortable, having Metlife Pet in my corner for that unexpected emergency.
Terrible experience
My cat became seriously ill and was hospitalized at Tufts veterinary hospital who did everything they could save her but she passed away. Months later I received a call from MetLife about another matter but was told by the agent O could file a claim which I did. They asked for more info, I provided it. Then they denied the claim because it wasn’t filed within 90 days. They all knew when it happened and kept encouraging me to continue only to process and deny the claim. Trust me when my beloved cat passed away unexpectedly I was not thinking “oh, I better file a claim for within 90 days”. Terrible on MetLife’s behalf.

Outstanding company to deal with
Not only was the MetLife pet policy more than competitive than other quotes I received, and in most cases less, but their coverage for both preventative and health is extensive. Additionally, I saw a vet for our puppy on Tuesday, easily completed the claim on their mobile app, but was reimbursed by Thursday.
Great Insurance!
We've had Trupanion insurance on our dog since she was just a new puppy and have always been very happy with their quick response to claims. Insurance seems to be a must these days.
Best pet insurance service out there
I’m also grateful for the unwavering support that Helathypaws have given me and my cat Luna throughout the years. I honestly didn’t think much of pet insurance companies and even considered not having one as I thought it would be a waste of money because insurance companies never pay out anyway, so why pay them a monthly subscription? I’m so happy that I was wrong and I can confidently say that Healthypaws has exceeded all my expectations. Their smooth, very streamlined, straightforward process and web portal for claim submissions etc. is the best I’ve ever seen. Seriously: many of the human health insurance companies could learn a thing or two from them. I’m recommending Healthypaws to all my friends who are pet owners (been doing so for a few years now).

Very Much so recommend Pets Plus. They are easy to deal with and claims submitting is good. For this particual visit I had submitted a Pre-approval to them and this did take some extra time to come but just wanted to make sure that once I made the appt and paid it woudl be reimbursed. need to get my oher cat set up now;)
