I can’t say enough good things about Healthy Paws! As the proud parent of a lovable Saint Bernard and a sweet King Charles Spaniel, having reliable pet insurance is a must—and Healthy Paws has exceeded all my expectations. From day one, the enrollment process was incredibly easy, and everything was clearly explained. Their coverage is straightforward and generous, which has given me so much peace of mind. My Saint Bernard needed surgery followed by her first seizures (common with larger breeds), and Healthy Paws was right there—fast, compassionate, and supportive. The claims process was simple and quick; I had my reimbursement within a few days, and it covered exactly what they promised. No hidden surprises from their coverage explanation and deductible amounts. They even sent a personal note checking in on how she was doing—such a kind touch that shows how much they truly care. My little King Charles Spaniel also had a bout with an unexpected illness, and once again, Healthy Paws stepped up. They made it possible for us to focus on getting her the best care instead of stressing about finances. I genuinely feel like Healthy Paws is a partner in my pets' health, not just an insurance company. If you love your pets like family (as we all do), Healthy Paws is absolutely worth it. Pet Plus Us
I highly recommend Pet Plus US. I got it for my adult cat when I adopted him, hoping not to have to use it, and thankfully, that was the case for many years. However, my baby is aging now, and it's stressful enough to go to the vet and sometimes receive not-so-great news, not to mention the very high costs. Having Pet Plus US helps make this phase easier for me. The claims are approved fairly quickly, and my biggest shout-out goes to their customer team in Canada. I will never forget when I called in a super emotional state due to some sad news, and the agent (I believe his name was Tyler) guided me through the claim process. He genuinely took an interest in helping me, which is super rare nowadays, and he not only made my day better but also had a huge impact on making things easier for me and my cat. Thank you!

My dog was recently diagnosed with bladder stones. The vet indicated surgery was necessary as medication wouldn't dissolve the stones. I called Pet's Best to speak with the vet to get a second opinion and read them the notes and test results, and they agreed this would be best for my dog. They confirmed the cost as well, as I was skeptical of the price they gave me. They were great in answering my questions and making me feel at ease with my decision. The claim process was easy as well. Although I had more claims to file, they received medical records and paid me after the deductible and co-insurance were met. I would recommend Pet's Best to my family and friends.
The worst ever
Please save yourself from this scam. They have the worst submission process possible, as well as the worst customer service possible. They make you jump and bend over backwards to even get an approval on a claim. I’ve had to send in multiple bank statements and cleared out my personal information just to prove that I had paid for a vet visit. Please do not please do not sign up for this insurance company.
Our Tail (Tale) of Bucky
On April 19th, 2025 our Maltipoo 17 months old had a decrease in appetite, was hardly drinking any water. He started vomiting and had bad diarrhea. He was very lethargic and had brought him to the emergency vet hospital where they performed various bloodwork, scans and also gave him intravenous fluids and various medications and kept him overnight. We had heard that someone was poisoning the feral cats in our neighborhood. Our Pet Hospital was close astronomical. We were so glad that we had Pets Best Pet Insurance for our pup Bucky . Pets Best Insurance was very fair with our reimbursement. We highly encourage and recommend people to use Pets Best Insurance for their pets health plan coverage. By the way, Bucky is back to being himself, and the person who is poisoning the cats is still at large. Thank you PetsBest !"

"I had only had insurance on my young cat for a few months when she got very sick, requiring emergency care and hospitalization. The cost was steep. I submitted my claim to Pets Best fully expecting to have to answer lots of questions before they would pay. But no, not one question asked, and they paid in full. Thanks Pets Best, you are the best!"
Pet's Best is really BEST!
My 11 year old Portuguese Water Dog (he is my mobility service dog) has a brain tumor. Without pet insurance, I could not have afforded the more than $20,000 for diagnosis and treatment. It has given him more than a year of quality time--and still going. I do have to pay the bill up front, but in general the claims process is easy--just submit the bill online--and fast, usually the funds are deposited in my account within two weeks. They don't dictate the treatment or argue about the cost. It meant that I could opt for stereotactic radiation (only 3 visits) vs. traditional radiation (at least 7 visits). Stereotactic radiation was significantly more in cost, but MUCH easier on my puppy and me as I had to drive him 2 hours each way daily.

I wanted to share a wonderful experience I had with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance recently. My pet, Toto, had a health scare, and I was relieved to have Healthy Paws by our side. He went through multiple round of Xrays, MRI, Sling wearing, Blood test, Spinal tap and ultimately was diagnosed with autoimmune disorder impacting his joints. Healthy paws helped me out in providing me coverage as per my eligibility which was a HUGE HELP at times of need. Their support and coverage were outstanding, allowing Toto to receive the best medical care available. From the moment I contacted them, I was impressed with the swift response and genuine concern for Toto's well-being. The claims process was straightforward and hassle-free, with clear communication every step of the way. Some of my claims were reimbursed within 3-4 business days. Their dedication to providing excellent service truly shone through. I highly recommend Healthy Paws to any pet parent looking for reliable insurance. They offer peace of mind and top-notch support during stressful times. It's evident that they care deeply about the health and happiness of our furry family members.
