Since I've been using pets best for the past two and a half years I've been very happy and excited that they've been so good about processing all of my bills for Sasha because he was not suffering from anything until recently when he developed diabetes and I've been extremely happy with the quick turnaround time and the wonderful people have talked to in processing his claims! It's hard enough having a dog that's sick but then when you have a good insurance company you know you could have them go to a good specialist and it's covered which I greatly appreciate!

Embrace is always quick to respond to any questions or claims. I have my policy for almost a year now, and they have covered claims for my dogs in a timely manner, depositing money back into my bank account. If I have any questions or don’t understand something they provide provide further feedback. I would highly recommend them.

Misguided Plans so you're left with the bill.
Figo has a lot of language to make you think you're getting coverage where you're not. Their plans are designed to confuse you so you're left with the bill at the end of the day. When attempting to understand my coverage policies, I was hung up on, and then when I called back, I was rerouted multiple times.

Embrace has been sitting on a claim for…
Embrace has been sitting on a claim for my dog since August. Her spay had gone wrong and we were in the ER with her bleeding out. (She's well now.) We'd picked Embrace because their marketing material promises to pay the provider directly. Except you need a secret 800-number to even talk to a live person after hours, and nowhere do they provide this info. Flash forward to now, almost two months later, and we're still waiting for reimbursement for a four-figure vet visit. All of the paperwork has been provided, and receipt has been verified, yet they're sitting on the claim and not replying to queries as to when we can expect payment. We've already switched providers. At this point, I am also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the Ohio Department of Insurance, and the NAIC. Under no circumstances should you work with this company.

Excited about Embrace
So far so good, the sign up process was super easy. My mom had Embrace for years and loved it. I had another provider for my dog who just passed and although they advertised and brag about covering 90%, they made it difficult to actually get the 90%. I had to appeal on numerous occasions for items that should have been covered per the contract. I eventually got the money, but who wants those hassles. I went with the more expensive insurance expecting better service but that wasn’t the case at all. My mother had Embrace for years and she had nothing, but good things to say about them.
