so far have processed claims in a timely manner and have reimbursed me for what I would expect to be reimbursed for. very happy i chose spot. i’ve had them for 3 years and hadn’t needed to use them until my cat suddenly got sick this year and it’s be super helpful being able to get some money back

Pre-Existing Conditions
I thought I read when I was first signing up for my policy that "pre-existing conditions" did not matter. I took all the time to sign up for insurance, paid the premiums, only to discover that pre-existing conditions is excluded from my coverage. I will be cancelling my coverage as the main reason to purchase insurance for my dog was to help cover VERY expensive costs for testing for something that we don't know what it is.

Felt like retaliation
I’ve had Embrace for 9 years. The rates appear to go up yearly. A few months ago i sent a note telling them their automated system misdiagnosed my dog’s problem. Almost immediately someone at Enbrace contacted my veterinarian and requested my dog’s entire medical record. I was cc’d. They then denied my claim of lameness for reimbursement of Carprofen, stating that the med was for treating a pre-existing diagnosis. I recently contacted them and asked that they find a way to lower my monthly premium. She agreed, lowered the premium $20 but in exchange I had to agree to a higher deductible. I am seriously looking for a different insurance company.

Excellent Coverage and Staff
Laura has been fantastic at assisting me with customized coverage for my kitten. She's friendly, kind, patient and provided guidance and assistance where needed. She explained how coverage works and didn't try to over sell me. I appreciated her honesty and sincerity. We spoke a few times and not once did she sound annoyed or irritated. She helped me obtain quotes for pets of family friend's as well. Hopefully they go for it as Fetch definitely provides the best coverage. Speaking with her, you could tell she enjoys what she does. I love that the deductibles, limits and the optional wellness package have a variety of choices. I spent a long time reviewing and comparing 5 different pet insurance companies and found Fetch to be the most comprehensive pet insurance company on the market in Canada. I have the peace of mind knowing that the newest addition to our family will be in good hands should anything ever happen. Thank you Laura and thank you Fetch!

Scam
Had them for a month they took my money and then when I submitted the bill after the dog being fixed microchips needles and everything it was a big Bill. And now they're fighting not to pay any of it they keep asking for more documents they keep asking for bills prior to even having them as an insurance I submitted the bill I submitted the stuff everything else that should be more than sufficient and I shouldn't be held up asking for more crap you have everything. Cancel the movie going with somebody that actually that can build directly and I don't have to go through this first bill and they don't want to pay a cent took my money won't give it back and won't pay nothing for the bill not a very good insurance beware of this pet insurance I have e submitted all medical records I have submitted a full detailed bill so everything has been submitted they're now asking me for bills prior to having your insurance which they have no right to ask for
