Trupanion Has Your Back

Trupanion is a fabulous insurer. I run out of superlatives to praise this company. Trupanion insured both my dogs since the were 12 week old puppies in 2016. I cannot think of a more responsive company. They prepaid every covered procedure my dogs had, and there were a lot. They covered multiple prescriptions usually within a day. The direct deposit feature is terrific. Trupanion also has fantastic customer support. Finally, Trupanion demonstrated compassion and care when I lost one of my pets in 12/25. To top it off, Trupanion planted a tree in Kenya in memory of my cherished departed pet. You cannot go wrong with Trupanion.

10/10

Easy process. Great coverage options. Affordable prices. I compared to other pet insurance options and this was definitely the cheapest, even without my employers 10% discount. And the cost automatically deducts from my paycheck. What a win!

Great in Emergencies

I have had some unfortunate emergency situations come up with my cats and each time spot has come through for my cats and me. Best decision I’ve made so far.

Thank You ASPCA

Today I received a letter of condolences from the ASPCA Pet Health Insurance on the passing of my dog Tanner. While I was extremely touched, I was not surprised, because they have been an incredible company. My girl (Cane Corso) had a series of issues as she aged, and ASPCA covered all of her care - from a custom leg brace, to chemotherapy, to acupuncture, to her final cremation, when the time came. I KNOW that Tanner had a longer quality of life because of the care that she was able to receive. I highly recommend this insurance.

They only want your money, they do NOT care about you or your pet

As a new parent to an 8 week old corgi, we took her to the vet for shots. Over the course of taking her for her shots we mentioned that she had diarrhea once and threw up once (not at the same time, multiple days apart) Nothing crazy and the vet did not seem to care. This was in September Fast forward to the middle of December and she gets Parvo, we take her to an emergency vet since she is throwing up and has bloody stools. We then take her to her normal vet 3 days later with the same symptoms. (Thankfully she is doing great now!) When we went to file a claim on Pumpkin they said since she pooped and threw up once in September that the Parvo she had in December was a PRE-EXISTING condition! They claim it is the same symptom and has not been 180 days! They ignore the fact that the stools are bloody, and that she had PARVO!? They do not care about you or your pet, they only want your MONEY!
