Great experience this time but I wish I could say that was always the case...
My last experience went perfectly and I received the reimbursement in a very timely manner. That has not always been my experience however. Sometimes it takes a lot longer, especially when multiple claims are filed.

Frustrating Claims Process, Poor App, and Minimal Coverage
The claims process was extremely frustrating. I submitted my claim the day I took my dog to the vet, but ongoing issues with both the app and website made it difficult to log in or confirm submission. I was told this was a common problem and advised to email my claim, which was later said to have never been received. When I finally submitted it, the claim was initially denied because my dog’s name wasn’t listed. Despite my name being clearly on the paperwork. It took three months to process the claim. After the delay, my monthly premium increased, and I was reimbursed only $270 on a $900 bill. Due to the poor technology, long delays, and minimal coverage, I canceled my policy and switched to another company offering the same benefits for half the cost. The only helpful experience I had was with the representative who assisted me in canceling my policy.

Claim processing needs improvement
Claim processing is slow and often claim agents miss documents already provided. Too often, I'd get an email saying I missed a document and had to reply with "No, the document was provided" for the claim to be thoroughly looked at and then it gets processes without me adding anything further. This all could have been avoided and quite annoying to deal with. Beside the claim processing issues, overall MetLife has been amazing to my pets.

Got denied insurance coverage for this claim. Was deemed a pre-existing condition when it was not. The doctor even said that it wasn't. Now all the visits to fix my pups stomach problem is not covered

I love Embrace Pet Insurance
I love Embrace Pet Insurance. I've had Illness and Injury insurance for my cat since 2014. Embrace has been helpful and given me all the info I need to get his treatments reimbursed (sometimes I get reimbursement in 2 days!). If you have a pet, get Embrace Pet Insurance, it's worth it!

Great Company by your side
We have used Trupanion for years, never had to do a claim, thankfully. But 2 weeks ago our dog had pyrometria and needed surgery, We submitted the invoices from the Vet and 3 days later we had our money. Amazing!

I was very skeptical on taking pet…
I was very skeptical on taking pet insurance and did not with my last fur baby. This time, however I tried Trupanion. They were terrific and very easy to get Pet insurance with. I’m happy I did ! They pay the vet direct which is very convenient for me. I had my first and second claim already and they were fast fast fast in paying the bill. Thank you Trupanion. You never know a time you need pet insurance.
