Healthy Paws insurance meant I didn’t think twice about the expense I faced when my dog was diagnosed with two mast cell tumors. Filing claims is a breeze in the app; just takes a couple clicks to send the receipt / medical notes from the vet visit. All of my claims were processed promptly with a clear explanation of benefits provided. I honestly wish my own health insurance was as easy and provided as much value.

Nationwide has really made it possible for me to take the best possible care of my elderly cat. This year alone I have been reimbursed around $2800 for $3300 worth of pet care. I pay about $100 month, so I have been more than repaid for my investment. When I go in to order tests or medication for her, I do it confidently, knowing that Nationwide will reimburse fairly and promptly. They have a service that deposits the refund directly into your account. I have never had a problem with getting services or prescriptions reimbursed that were covered by the plan. When animals are young, it's easy to think that insurance is an expensive luxury, but as they grow older and need more intensive care, insurance is critical.

My dog
My dog, Pedro developed cancer in his right rear leg. Diagnostics to figure out what was wrong got expensive fast. Then we decided the best thing was to amputate it. He's back to his happy old self and making do very well on 3 legs. Healthy Paws insurance helped cover the big vet bills.
