Every claim denied after paying for top tier plan

DO NOT use Pets Best for your pet. They have denied every single claim we’ve submitted over the past three years and we are paying for the highest coverage. Complete waste of money and horrible support. I can’t even cancel my policy without speaking to them on the phone, but no one answers after sitting on hold for hours.

A godsend to have

I am so thankful to have coverage on my fur babies for the unexpected events. Nobody wants these things to happen but when they do they can be completely devastating not only financially but emotionally. It helps to know at least one side is covered for those events.

Claim was paid within one week!

I had a very expensive surgery for my dog that cost $2400. I submitted the claim the next day and my claim was paid before my dog had her 1-week post-op follow up appt. The process was easy and fast!

Our situation was urgent at about 10:00…

Our situation was urgent at about 10:00 at night. Our little 18 lb Skipper was throwing up suddenly first his earlier dinner and then water. All the people at VEG were all very kind and concerned. They ran many tests to rule out possible issues. We were there until about 3 am. Skipper was in pain from throwing up and was given pain meds. In the end it was a gastritis event. We are very thankful for care and knowing we had insurance in place to help us. We submitted the claim and it was processed immediately.

Denied without contacting my vet

First, the claim submission process was an email as the app continued to ask me to re-login, although I was logged in. When trying to re-login I got the message “we dont recognize this device” so an email was sent to me to verify. Clicking the verification it said “this link has expired”…it was sent 10 seconds prior and never used. They finally acknowledged my claim over a month after I submitted. That email asked for any contact information for the prior vet, so I sent that to them. I received an email 2.5 wks later denying the whole claim, but requesting information to reconsider, from the vet who’s contact information I already provided. This insurance is a scam at best, unable to cancel through the app and when I tried to cancel my Cats, due to their terrible service, their system hung up on me. 0 stars! These people should be ashamed of themselves.
