PetsBest Cannot Claim Website Issues
Our Vet submitted handwritten receipts for our 2 claims for Nov/Dec. PetsBest denied BOTH claims claiming "unreadable" but never contacted the doctor ! Petsbest never took the time to read purpose of visit & associate the line entries. Then...I reviewed the Vet Notes and w/o ANY medical experience translated every single word for PetsBest, who only then (after 4 weeks of nonsense Emails/US Mail Letters) settled our claims. PetBest claim reviewers must be Button Pusher Interns who REJECT rather than READ. THIS HAPPENED THOUGHOUT ALL OF 2025 ! Their Website crashed & it took 8 WEEKS TO PROVIDE ANY PORTAL ENTRY OR RESULTS VIA WEBSITE. WHO IS THE "IT FOR PETSBEST"? Nobody takes 8 weeks to get a website updated or back up online

Kitty emergency
We had an emergency with our wonderful little kitty. We had an almost $4k bill that trupanion dropped down to $900. It was a huge relief that we could get our sweet boy the treatment he needed without stressing about how we were going to pay our normal bills this month. It was fast and easy, with approval they paid their part up front.

Poor user interface both on website and on app. Payout methods didn't work, had to wait for physical checks to arrive. Insurance wasn't there for me when i needed it the most.

When I first submitted Sta's diagnosis it was rejected because she had a rash in 2021 due to fleas. She was diagnosed with Cushing's in late 2025. She had a horrible rash but it had nothing to do with fleas. Once I talked to someone on the phone, he understood the difference. Then Met life weighed in in Star's favor.

Extremely Easy
It was extremely easy to download all required forms on your website. When I would sign in to check the status I could see I was in "queued" status which let me know the claim was being reviewed. The only thing is that claims should be processed sooner as I needed to pay my credit card soon so I would not have interest charged on my credit card account.
