Maybe they do care
My distrust for insurance companies made me very skeptical of this insurance for my dog. However, when put to the test I was very pleased the claim was accepted. Approval speed was appreciated and reimbursement amount was acceptable. Will recommend to fellow pet owners.

My experience with submitting a claim
The process of submitting a claim was straightforward. I was promptly notified if more information was required. The decision regarding coverage was clearly explained and directly deposited into my account. The Staff that answer my phone calls are attentive and concerned about my pet.

Fetch is there for my kitties.
Fetch has been there to cover both of my cat’s severe health issues, and continue to cover them. This has been a great company to me. The claims department is quick and fair with the reimbursements.

ASPCA pet insurance makes is super easily to submit claims. They have an amazing support team who explains everything so well. They’re always very attentive, when my sweet girl passed away, they sent me a sweet letter. It’s the little things that make a huge difference. Adding coverage for other pets is also super simple, the app is easy to work.

Don't Buy Unless You Are OK with Being Left High and Dry
I have had this insurance for 10 years, since my cats were young. It was good insurance, until it wasn't. I planned to keep this insurance for the lifetime of my cats. Then, Nationwide decided they didn't want to operate in Florida anymore because it's too expensive for this huge corporation. Now I have to find replacement insurance with another company for two senior cats with conditions that developed during Nationwide's coverage that *would* have been covered if Nationwide didn't pull out of Florida, but now won't be covered by my next plan as "preexisting conditions", just when I needed the insurance the most. Beware, do not sign up for this insurance because they just might decide your state is too expensive next and your pet's most important conditions won't be covered. Adding insult to injury, they denied my final claims. The plans listed an effective date through the 2nd. "January 2nd" is the date listed everywhere on the app and on the website. One cat was due for his one month follow up after radioactive iodine treatment and the other was due for his 6 month recheck of his kidney values, so I took them both on the 2nd. Guess what - both claims were denied by Nationwide who now states that actually January 1st is the last day of the policy because January 2nd they're no longer effective. If that's the case, the website and app should say January 1st! Every expiration date I've ever come across in my life lists the last day of the effectiveness of the policy, plan, service, card, etc., and you have until the end of the day to use it. I begged them to help me, to see if there was anything they could do, because this was not clear at all and the entire situation of the company pulling out of Florida is not my fault. They were rude and cold on the phone, saying there's nothing they can do. Of course there is something they can do, they can cover the claims, but they don't want to. Thanks Nationwide for leaving me in tears and leaving my cats vulnerable to their now "preexisting" conditions in their senior years. I am so sorry to all others who are in the same position as me in Florida and hope no one else in other states has to experience this, but I wouldn't risk it.
Initial premium amount is way off compared to actual!
The premium amount I was quoted per pay period when I initially signed up isn't what's reflected on the emailed quote I received a day later - it more than doubled. I can understand an increase by a few dollars, but the rate I was sent is in no way close to the initial quote. We're not off to a good start. I will likely not go through with it.

Great experience
I was not previously aware that Nationwide offered preventive care as part of my pets policy. I’m thankful everything is covered under one policy. The website was easy to use and understand.
