Its a scam!

Ive had to jump through hoops over $100! I have told everyone I talk to NOT to get Trupanion. My dog and I visit different dog parks on a daily basis and I make sure everyone knows not to go through Trupanion. My family and friends including people on social media know of my terrible experiences. I would NEVER continue with this company and am so grateful I got the trial through the shelter so I could see what a scam this company is!

This is by far the worst pet insurance…

This is by far the worst pet insurance company out there. Deserves zero stars. My insurance started for a senior dog in 2023. In 2024 my dog had a growth removed from her gums that was potentially cancerous. Fast forward to 2026, and she has three growths removed. The biggest was on the elbow area. I submit my claim to Spot and they declined it for preexisting condition, claiming this was all related to a random growth that she had in 2023 near her mouth and not in the same location as the one in 2024. A few days later, my dog is diagnosed with cutaneous lymphoma at the oncologist. I submit a claim for this and now this claim is also denied for a supposed preexisting condition. How they came to the conclusion that any of these are preexisting conditions is anyone’s guess. So if you’re thinking about getting insurance from Spot, I suggest you go anywhere else as they would literally relate any claim to a preexisting condition without any logic whatsoever just so they don’t have to pay out. What a scam.

Pet's Best Health Insurance is a Great Pet Insurance Company

Pet's Best Insurance always takes very good care of it's customers and their pet, in my case a rescue dog named Dixie. Phone calls are answered reliably and thorough customer service is provided by friendly and knowledgeable customer service reps. All claims are reviewed quickly, detailed Explanation of Benefits are provided and payment is made in a timely manner. This is a very good company that I recommend to strangers and all of my pet owner friends.

I was VERY skeptical about getting pet…

I was VERY skeptical about getting pet insurance but have 3 rescue cats and just needed the security to know if something happened, they would be ok. I got them the wellness add on and took all three of them to vet for the first time. I am getting back more than $500 of a close to $900 bill for all three of them. I am SO SO GRATEFUL and really can't believe it actually worked. I also need to get some dental surgery for my little girl and realized it just at this vet visit. I believe that they will cover some of this as well. Honestly, super impressed. The claim was easy to submit. They responded within days and said the reimbursement is on the way to direct payment to my bank account. One very happy cat mama.

Help with getting appropriate coverage while reducing premims

Embrace representative reached out by phone because our policy renewal was expensive. When I called back, she helped me figure out how to reduce the premium without reducing the protection that was important to me. She was patient, knowledgeable, and went over every imaginable option (more than once). She understood what I wanted for our geriatric dogs and helped me figure out that raising the deductible was the most cost effective solution. We LOVE Embrace. They have always paid our claims promptly and fairly.
