great company
I'm very happy with this company. I've done plenty of chats and always got a great response to my questions. Submit a claim would get the refund the next day show what got reimbursed and what didn't. Glad I picked Pumpkin for my dogs pet insurance regret not getting it for my previous dog who ended up with lymphoma. I'm not making that mistake again that's why I choose to go with Pumpkin after reading the reviews best decision I made.

Pumpkin has been great!
Pumpkin has been great for me and my pet, my dog had to get TPLO procedure and Pumpkin made it very easy for me. I submitted my claim and was reimbursed within a couple of days. I highly recommend them if you are looking for insurance for your pet!

Trupanion is AMAZING!!
Trupanion is AMAZING!!! I've had pets my entire life a know that medical bills can take a toll if/when your pet gets sick or injured. When my wife and I got our new lab puppy, we investigated insurance companies and decided on Trupanion due to the no life time limits and one deductible per issue. To be honest, I assumed there was some fine print I was missing and that if my pet got really sick but it seemed like the best option. Unfortunately our lab needed a new hip and then got cancer. As you can imagine, the bills have been large and frequent. Trupanion has covered every invoice without question. Our puppy will be on medication for the rest of his life that is $200 per week and they cover it right away. We were so happy to have Trupanion, when you have to make life/death and quality of life decisions about your pet, it is a huge relief not to have to worry about the money. I will never have a pet again without Trupanion.

So far not too impressed
So far not too impressed. Had to take my dog to the ER vet back in January, and submitted claim forms right away. Claim still shows "more information necessary" but they have never contacted me to let me know what information they need. Unfortunately I just had to submit another claim, for an unrelated illness and am wondering how long that one will take to process.
