CLAIMS MADE EASY
I have had Healthy Paws insurance for both of my dogs for several months. One of my dogs began showing symptoms of gastric illness. I immediately took her to the vet and she began diagnostic testing. I submitted my first claim and it took about 30 days for reimbursement, since it was the first claim and my vet exists in hard copy. Once HP received the records, they paid the claim, minus my deductible and copay, within a few days. After the first claim, HP paid each subsequent claim within a few hours after submittal. They even emailed me 10 days after the last visit to check on my girl. Amazing! Based on the excellent customer service and trust they built, I decided to adopt two more dogs, knowing that the unexpected costs of illness and accidents will be covered after I enroll them. One other note: I compared many different plans before selecting HP. It offered the most benefits for the most competitive price.

Animal insurance is a plus
This was my second experience taking my fur babies to the VCA. Once all my vet records were sent to Trupanion they kept me up dated with receiving my info and date of review and in less then 2 weeks my check was in my account.
