The best coverage I could find for my 4 year old newly adopted dog
Because my research led me to find that this is the most complete coverage especially taking into account that my dog is likely to live 10 or more years and I learned with my last dog that those last couple of years can be very pricey with no insurance. The once an illness deductible and 90% coverage really make sense.

The Process Couldn't Have Been Easier!
I have 2 Irish Wolfhounds and with big dogs come big bills. I’d never had insurance before for my pets and after some research I chose Trupanion. I honestly didn’t think I’d ever use it just because I’d heard of how hard it was to file a claim and then the long wait while the company assesses the claim. This past weekend I had a scare with my female Wolfie and had to go to a pet emergency hospital in the middle of the night. Thankfully she would be ok but the bill was not money I had budgeted for. I decided to file a claim on Monday and surprisingly, it was really easy!! I got emails telling me what the status of the claim was daily and couldn’t believe it when Thursday I received the money in my bank account! It was such an easy process and the people were so friendly. I encourage everyone to check out Trupanion!

Although Trupanion offers a great service, their constant and significant price increases for pet insurance is quite counterintuitive to their mission i.e."to help the pets we all love get the veterinary care they need" and their vision i.e."to create a better quality of life for people and their pets". Just a reminder, to achieve this mission and vision, you must keep your rates affortable. A 100% increase in rates in one year is not conducive to your mission and vision. For those considering Trupanion, please be advised that they constantly increase their rates once you've signed on.

I called Prudent Pet Health Insurance yesterday. I am very happy that Peter answered my phone. I was looking for the good health insurance for my 2 Pemroke Gorgis. Peter answered all my questions giving me detailed information on Illness Benefits and Accident Benefits. After explaining info on coverage, deductible and monthy premiums and claims I ask about Wellness Policy .I asked questions and each time received very helpful explanation. I knew I chose the right pet insurance and the right polices. Thank youi Peter. You just represented your company in the best possible way.
