Great experience with Trupanion !
We are so glad that we purchased a Trupanion policy for both of our dogs. Obviously you hope that you will never need it, but if you do Trupanion does an excellent job!! We had found a lump on Sydney's leg, which our vet diagnosed as MCT. Purdue Veterinary Small Animal Clinic did a full day of tests and we now have a treatment plan moving forward. The invoice from the Purdue appointment was taken care of within 5 days !! Such a relief that moving forward with treatment, Trupanion is behind us !! Thank you!!

Peace of mind during difficult time
My pet, Roxie is a 9 year old mini schnauzer. We rescued each other when she was 2, and I immediately purchased her Trupanion policy. Roxie is generally very healthy, Happy and playful. This past week, she became very ill, vomiting, bloody diahhrea and lethargic. Of course, these instances always happen on the weekend, or late at night, when your regular vet clinic is closed. After 5 calls, I finally found an urgent care to see her. It was 35 miles away. The ER provided symptom management, and released her. They advised that I get her to her regular vet hospital immediately the next morning when the clinic opened. The cost was over $1100 for 4 hours of service. Roxie was still very sick Sunday night, and I stayed up with her all night. I was worried to death that she might not make it. The next morning, Roxie was immediately admitted to the hospital and she was under the care of her veterinarian. She received the best quality care, and she is on the mend. She was in the hospital for 2 1/2 days. She was diagnosed with pancreatitis. The bill was over $3000. I remained calm because through the years, Trupanion has consistently acted with integrity, speed, and compassion, even though in the past the claims we submitted were minor. The vet hospital submitted the $3000+ to Trupanion. I immediately received a text that Roxie's claim was being review. This claim was approved within 4 hour. True to their word, Trupanion covered 90% of the cost. I went online to Trupanion's website to file Roxie's ER claim. I found their website user friendly, and I easily uploaded the invoice for the urgent care service, which was over $1100. Again, I received a text immediately that Roxie's claim was under review. The next day, I received word that Roxie's claim was approved, and Trupanion covered 90%. I am so happy that Roxie is home and getting better every day! I'm thankful and very pleased with Trupanion and their integrity, professionalism, and compassion. Thank you to the team at Trupanion who helped our family afford a potentially devastating expense.

We are glad we got pet insurance!
Healthy Paws has been great! We were unsure about getting pet insurance but did so anyways just to be on the safe side. I am so glad that we got it for our pup. We found out that he had torn ligaments in both hind legs and needed surgery on both. Without Healthy Paws, we would not have been able to afford the care our pup needed!

With my other dog, Anna, I'm getting a run around on the claim saying something about having to see if the dog has had any dental issues before. The dog has only turned a year old and hasn't had time to get dental issues...and she certainly wasn't born with a fractured tooth. It came from either a fall off porch stoop or from chewing on deer antlers I got at store. I'm waiting on claim to come thru so I can get her mouth xrayed too see if is all wrong that her tooth needs pulling. I give a 9 score for help with Lucy and nice folks helping but a very low rating on score with Anna's case, my toy poodle. Your office should have all off Anna's records from where she's been seen for eating leaves.
