Fast and easy!

I just insured both of my puppies with ASPCA. The process was easy and I appreciate that the waiting period is miniscual.

I love the fact that you can customize...

I love the fact that you can customize the insurance to your dog with picking a deductible amount, amount of coverage and reimbursement, and so on but prices are just a bit high for coverage. With that being said I filed my dogs first claim a few days ago and it was very easy to file and send in for review for reimbursement. Haven’t heard anything about my reimbursement status yet but overall I’m happy with my service and pet insurance. Would recommend.

I am very happy with this company

I am very happy with this company. My "rescue" dog Hope, was six years old when I got her and signed her up immediately for insurance. I chose the deductible and co-pay that would work for me. Not long after, I signed up the puppy. I have used it twice so far on Hope and the nice thing is the deductible is good for the whole year, not per incident. It might take a little longer for claims, but if all the "t"s are crossed and all the "i"s are dotted, I had my payments within a couple of weeks. And yes, it is almost impossible to talk to a person, but I used "chat" and had my question taken care of immediately. I pay the premium yearly, which is a little cheaper and insuring the puppy gets me a discount. I can certainly recommend this company to anyone.

Healthy Paws insurance is a great…

Healthy Paws insurance is a great company based on my experience. The most impressive part is that they did what they promised: hassle-free reimbursement as long as it is related to pet sickness and injury, and no cap. My dog, Olivia, unfortunately is a pretty naughty girl. We visited the pet ER multiple times: from ingesting foreign objects to falling out of the car. And this year was especially tough for Olivia, she suffered from seizures and had to see vets a lot, including the MRI procedures that costed a few thousand dollars. We feel lucky that we bought the insurance right after she came to our home. Being financially supported by Healthy Paws, we can get her the best care with a peaceful mind. And importantly, we got reimbursed just by uploading the picture of the invoice and doctor's notes. No phone calls, no negotiations, and no worries!

Terrible - put your premiums into a savings account

I have paid a small fortune to Figo over the years for my 3 dogs. Every single time there's a claim, they want more information, SOAP notes, then the SOAP notes aren't detailed enough for them, so you have to go back to the vet and ask that these busy busy people update their notes just to satisfy FIGO. My most recent experience was a simple case of bad diarrhea that had afflicted my dog for a few days. The vets notes stated this, the invoice reflected the medication he was given to control it, yet FIGO still wanted more information. Avoid them like the plague, put your premiums into a savings account and you won't need them, won't need to pay their ridiculous deductibles and best of all won't have to deal with their deliberate making any claim an arduous process.

Highly recommend Healthy Paws

I'm a veterinarian with two dogs that are my whole world. Healthy Paws is the first pet insurance I've had and I couldn't recommend it enough. My pets' well-being is my priority and medical care can be stressful: the time, treatments, and worry. Healthy Paws removes the stress of the financial burden so that I can focus on my pets's health without the influence of expense. Submitting claims is easy, their coverage is comprehensive and easy to understand (no catches that I've come across), customer service is always helpful.
